TOOTH RESTORATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tooth restoration method and a tooth restoration system are provided. The tooth restoration method includes: configuring a control module to obtain an image and tooth characteristic information of teeth through an image capturing module; configuring the control module to calculate and generate a characteristic parameter of the target tooth according to the image and the tooth characteristic information, and generate a 3D restoration file of the target tooth according to the characteristic parameter; configuring the control module to calculate and generate color information and candidate filling materials of the target tooth according to the image, the 3D restoration file and the filling material database, and compare the candidate filling materials with the characteristic parameter and the color information of the target tooth to generate a selected filling material matching the target tooth; and restoring the target tooth based on the selected filling material through a prosthetic technique.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND A DENTAL PROSTHESIS MANUFACTURED THEREBY
A dental prosthesis is made by externally machining successive layers of wax, each of which is formed on a previous prosthesis layer and/or on a coping. Each wax layer is used to form a mold in situ over the previous prosthesis layer/coping, and the appropriate prosthesis material is cast or otherwise molded to conform to the wax layer by the mold.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MOLDED BODY AND MOLDED BODY
By using key structures which allow an unambiguous relative positioning, it is possible to produce mold blanks consisting of several layers, from which molded bodies can be produced by machining in an automated manner. These bodies may not only have an irregular but predefined shape, but they also have at least one irregular but predefined parting surface between two layers, the positioning on this parting surface relative to the surface being predefined.

HOLDING SPLINT FOR HOLDING RESTORATION FORMS
The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for providing a holding splint for holding one or more restoration forms. The holding splint is configured for being arranged in a patient's oral cavity on a set of teeth comprising one or more teeth to be restored. The holding splint comprises one or more holding sections configured to hold the one or more restoration forms in order to shape restoration material applied onto one or more surfaces of the one or more teeth to be restored into a predefined form using the one or more restoration forms.
GUIDING SURFACE GENERATION
The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for assessing a clearance between a tooth element to be provided with a dental restoration element and an antagonist of the tooth element. A 3D digital teeth model with 3D digital representations of the tooth element and of a surface area of the antagonist is received. The surface area is offset from the antagonist by adding an offset. The resulting offset surface area defines a limit for the tooth element. For the clearance it is checked, whether the tooth element violates one or more penetration criteria regarding the offset surface area. If the tooth element violates the one or more penetration criteria, the clearance is assessed to be insufficient for the tooth element to be provided with the dental restoration element. Else the clearance is assessed to be sufficient. The result of the assessment is output.
RESTORING A 3D DIGITAL DEFECTIVE TOOTH MODEL
The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for restoring a 3D digital defective tooth model of a tooth of a patient. The 3D digital defective tooth model is missing one or more tooth sections. The method comprises receiving a 3D digital teeth model of at least a part of a dentition of a patient comprising the 3D digital defective tooth model. A 3D digital supplemented tooth model of the tooth of the patient is generated. The generating of the 3D digital supplemented tooth model comprises supplementing the 3D digital defective tooth model with one or more filling tooth sections used to fill one or more of the missing tooth sections.
DENTAL DEVICES AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Dental devices and systems and methods for making the same are provided. In at least one embodiment, a computer readable medium containing instructions for fabricating an arch-shaped device for coupling to a patient's mouth is provided. The instructions can include using a denture form device to obtain an impression of a patient's mouth. The instructions can also include selecting an arch device and adapting that arch device to conform to a model of a patient's mouth, such that the adapted arch device may be used to ultimately form a denture.
