Pharmaceutical packaging apparatus, method of determining remaining quantity of pharmaceutical packaging paper and pharmaceutical packaging paper roll
Medicine packaging apparatuses and methods for accurately determining a remaining sheet amount of a medicine packaging sheet are described. The apparatus includes: a roll support section to which a core tube of a medicine packaging sheet roll is attached; a sensor disposed in the roll support section for outputting a count value according to a rotation amount; a wireless reader-writer unit for writing information to a core tube IC tag and reading said information; an information generation section for generating information to be written to the core tube IC tag; a remaining sheet amount estimation section for estimating a current amount of remaining sheet based on the information and dimensional information of the core tube; and a controller which selectively performs an operation if a reference time-point count value is not yet written to the core tube IC tag and another operation if the count value is already written thereto.
Stress tearable tape
A stress tearable tape includes an elongated film and a hand tearing arrangement. The film has a non-adhesive surface and an opposed adhesive surface, and defines a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. The hand tearing arrangement includes a plurality of pinholes formed along the longitudinal direction of the film. With the combination application of internal force, shear tension, compression tension, pinhole arrangement, and material's biaxial structure, and users' habit together, each of the pinholes enables the film being torn by hand with a force starting at one of the pinholes, such that the film is hand tearable at any section in the transverse direction thereof.

System and method for deploying coils of spoolable pipe
A system for deploying a coil of spoolable pipe from a vessel includes a first tower configured to move longitudinally and transversely along a first track coupled to the vessel, a second tower configured to move longitudinally along a second track coupled to the vessel, and a coil drum assembly coupled to the first tower. The first tower is configured to insert the coil drum assembly transversely into an interior channel of the coil when the coil drum assembly is in a retracted position, the coil drum assembly is configured to support the coil when the coil drum assembly is in an extended position and rotate during deployment of the spoolable pipe, and the first tower and the second tower are configured to move the coil drum assembly vertically.
MAGAZINE
A magazine has a generally rectangular, prismatic shaped body with a lid. The body has a front with an opening, an opposite back, a bin upon the back, a left side and an opposite right side spanning from the front to the back, a toothed rack on each side, a spindle assembly between the two racks, and a base beneath the front, the back, and the two sides. The lid rests upon the front, the back, the left side, and the right side in a spacing above the base. Each spindle of the assembly receives a roll of wrapping paper, oriented parallel to the front. Each spindle has an end cap and an opposite movable cap engaging a dock upon a cover. The spindles rotate upon gears with the spindle assembly upon the racks. Grips upon each spindle allow a user to unroll paper as desired.
Unwinding assembly and method for automatically loading reels into an unwinding assembly
An unwinding assembly comprising first and second unwinding and handling units comprising respective robots having respective wrists movable under the control of at least one electronic control unit, wherein each of said unwinding and handling units comprises a respective unwinding device mounted on the wrist of the respective robot. The present invention also relates to an unwinding and handling unit capable of handling the reel carried by it with high freedom of movement, while maintaining small dimensions.
Printer
A printer includes a paper roll holder having a shaft, a paper roll storage section, and a print unit. The paper roll storage section has a first support configured to rotatably support the shaft of the paper roll holder when the paper roll holder is inserted into a shaft core of a paper roll, and a second support configured to rotatably support the shaft of the paper roll holder when the paper roll holder is not inserted into the shaft core of the paper roll and at a position where the paper roll holder abuts an outer circumference of the paper roll when the shaft of the paper roll holder is rotatably supported by the second support. The print unit is configured to form an image on paper to be supplied from the paper roll.
Roll transfer device and roll transfer method
A roll conveyance device includes a transportation device including a roll holding shaft extending in a predetermined direction from a distal section of an arm to hold a roll such that the roll holding shaft is inserted into a core member of the roll; and a mounting section within a moving range of the roll holding shaft, the mounting section allowing the roll to be mounted in a state in which both axial ends of the core member of roll are open. The transportation device is configured to mount the roll on the mounting section, the roll holding shaft is to be pulled out from the core member of the roll mounted on the mounting section to a first side of an axial direction of the core member, and the roll holding shaft is to be inserted into the core member from a second side of the axial direction.
Film transport apparatus, film transport method, and film attachment apparatus
Provided is a film attachment apparatus and a film transport method by which it is easy to switch a film each time, and a film attachment apparatus including the film transport apparatus. The film transport apparatus includes: a film holding unit configured to hold a long-length film; and a film cutting unit configured to cut out the film, in which the film holding unit holds the plurality of films, and the film transport apparatus further includes: a temporary holding unit configured to include a plurality of temporary holding mechanisms that temporally hold the films between the film holding unit and the film cutting unit; and a first transport arm configured to select and pull out one film from the plurality of films which are held in the temporary holding unit.
Roller adapters
An example roller adapter may comprise a cradle, a first roller rotatably disposed on a top side of the cradle, a second roller rotatably disposed on the top side of the cradle, and an alignment knob disposed on a base of the cradle. The first and second rollers may extend in a substantially parallel direction. The first and second roller may rotatably support a roll of flexible print media.
