A dental attachment assembly and method anchors a dental appliance with an implant and has an abutment member attached to the implant, a retention member in releasable snap engagement with the abutment member, and a cap secured in a recess of the dental appliance and in releasable swivel engagement with the retention member to position and secure the dental appliance onto the implant. The cap includes a cavity with a rounded, concave inner surface which engages with the retention member, an interior top surface of the cavity with a concave recess extending radially along an outer periphery of the interior top surface of the cavity to allow for rotation of the retention member within the cap. A central portion of the interior top surface of the cavity surrounded by the concave recess therefore protrudes vertically into the cavity to minimize vertical displacement of the retention member as it rotates.

BONE-MOUNTED DENTAL ARCH VENEERS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING AND UTILIZING THE SAME
20200222158 · 2020-07-16 ·

Bone-secured dental arch veneers and methods for fabricating and utilizing the same. The dental arch veneers include a veneer assembly having one or more tooth veneers and a support structure configured to support the tooth veneer(s). The dental arch veneers also include a coupling structure configured to interconnect the veneer assembly to a bone mount that is anchored along a user's maxilla or mandible. The coupling structure also is configured to permit the veneer assembly to be selectively and repeatedly interconnected with and disconnected from the bone mount. The methods include determining a target region within the user's mouth, obtaining a representation of the target region, manipulating the representation to create a desired arrangement of the user's teeth within the target region, determining anchoring positions proximate the target region for anchoring the bone mount, and forming the dental arch veneer based on the anchoring positions and the desired arrangement.

A dental prosthesis having a guide hole formed therein. The guide hole is configured to guide a drilling for a screw, and configured to receive the screw, holding the prosthesis in place when screwed into the bone of a patient.

Abutment assembly and manufacturing method thereof

An abutment assembly includes an abutment, an adjustable buffer member and an adhesive. There is an angle between an extending direction of the abutment and a Z-axis direction, and the angle is greater than or equal to 0 degrees and smaller than or equal to 30 degrees. The adjustable buffer member is closely connected to the abutment having a positioning structure. The adjustable buffer member includes an engaging structure, an inner side wall, a base portion and a grinding portion. The engaging structure is engaged with the positioning structure. The inner side wall has at least one inner annular groove corresponding to the engaging structure. The base portion has a base thickness which is smaller than or equal to 4 mm. The adhesive is connected between the abutment and the adjustable buffer member, and contained in the inner annular groove. The grinding portion is manufactured by the instrument.

Digital full arch method for immediate definitive dental prostheses

The apparatus and methods disclosed utilize a healing assembly including a prosthetic shoe and a healing sleeve that, when used in mating combination, allow the radiographic capture of the prosthetic shoe as it relates to the dental implant surface(s) and the exact orientation of the final prosthetic tooth set-up to provide all information required in one step, for final CAD/CAM of the final fixed prosthetic bridge.
