An equine bandage wrapping device includes a motor with a rotating drive shaft mounted on a hinged bracket. A forked spindle coupled to the motor engages the bandage. The hinged bracket pivots in response to external force causing a torque on the hinge. The external force is supplied by the user pulling slightly against the bandage while it is secured to the forks. Such force is resisted by a spring disposed between a base plate and the underside of the floating end of the hinged bracket. If sufficient force is applied to overcome the spring force, then the electrical circuit between the motor and power source is closed, resulting in the motor turning on. The circuit is opened by removing the external force to cause the spring to return to its extended position, resulting in the motor stopping movement.

Provided is a foil removal device and a method for removing a foil from a tire tread in a removal direction, wherein the foil removal device includes a foil collection unit with a winding element, a winding drive for receiving the foil at or near one of the ends of the foil, a gripper for engaging the foil prior to the removal of the foil and a gripper drive for moving the gripper from the gripping position towards the foil collection unit to partially remove the foil from the tire tread. The gripper is arranged for releasing the foil when the foil collection unit has received the foil. The winding drive is arranged for driving the winding element to engage and subsequently remove the foil. The removal device includes a displacement drive for moving the foil collection unit simultaneously with the winding drive driving the winding element.

The measuring device is configured to measure a traveling length of the strip material. The controller, upon receiving the in-place signal, determines a winding radius of the winding roller located at the set position based on the traveling length measured by the measuring device, and when the winding radius reaches a preset threshold, controls the roll-changing device to drive another winding roller to move to the set position and get in contact with the strip material.

The core support grips opposing ends of the core during winding of the web material about the core. The core support has first and second rotatable pins each having corresponding first and second ends capable of insertion into a respective end of the core. The first rotatable pin has a channel that provides fluid communication between a source of positive pressure disposed external to the first rotatable pin and the second end of the first rotatable pin to provide positive pressure to the interior portion of the core.
