Toilet Tissue Comprising a Dynamic Surface
Toilet tissue having a dynamic surface and method for making same are provided.
Method for managing production and packaging lines of logs of tissue paper and line using said method
The method provides for detecting a temporary stop request by a machine of the line, for example to replace a member subject to wear or a consumable. In view of this stop, the speed of the line is modulated so as to increase, for example, the level of filling of an accumulator, and makes sure that the subsequent temporary stop has a minimum effect on the overall productivity of the line.

REEL HANDLING MACHINE
A reel handling machine includes first and second re-reeling assemblies coupled to a frame. The re-reeling assemblies each include a reel mount supporting a first reel and a re-reel mount supporting a second reel. The re-reeling assemblies operated to unwind a product strip from the first reel and rewind the product strip on the second reel. The reel handling machine includes a reel manipulator positioned proximate to the re-reeling assemblies configured to automatically remove the second reel from the re-reel mount after the product strip is rewound on the second reel and move the second reel to a remote location.

PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes: a printing head for printing on a printing material; a feeding portion for feeding the printing material from an upstream side of a conveyance path of the printing material toward the printing head; a winding portion for winding a part of the printing material at a downstream side of the conveyance path, the part of the printing material having passed through the printing head; a conveying portion configured to convey the printing material while performing printing on the printing material with the printing head, at a position where the conveying portion is opposed to the printing head; a movement mechanism configured to change an opposing interval between the printing head and the conveying portion; and a detecting portion configured to detect floating of the printing material. The movement mechanism performs a separation operation to widen the opposing interval when the detecting portion detects the floating.

Surface Rewinder with Center Assist and Belt and Winding Drum Forming a Winding Nest
A rewinding machine winds a web material into a log about a core. The web material to be wound is directed about a rotating winding drum. A continuous loop is spaced from the winding drum and with the winding drum defines a nip through which the core is inserted and through which the web material is directed. A surface of the continuous loop opposite the winding drum across the nip is configured to move in a direction generally opposite of the winding drum for winding the web material about the core. A rider roll defines a winding space with the winding drum and the continuous loop. The rider roll is movable relative to the continuous loop and the winding drum to allow for an increase in a diameter of the log in the winding space during winding of the web material about the core.
Turn-up Device For a Reel-up Forming a Single Reject Part
In a reel-up for reeling of fiber webs, a web travelling in direction (S) is cut by two water jet nozzles moving in a transverse direction. Two cuts (C1, C2) are formed by the nozzles starting from the web edges moving to the web center where the cuts (C1, C2) cross or meet forming a V-shaped tail end (V1). After the cuts nozzle movement is stopped and after the return of the nozzles, cutting is restarted from the center toward the edges so the web W is cut by two cuts (C3, C4) forming a substantially V-shaped beginning end (V2) and between the cuts (C1, C2) for the tail end (V1) and the cuts (C3, C4) for the beginning end (V2) there is formed one web reject part (R) with two substantially V-shaped cuts. Cross-direction travel distance (L1, L2) of each nozzle is substantially shorter than the web width.
