Dispenser for rolled sheet materials with belt drive system
The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.

METHOD FOR CONVEYING GLASS FILM COMPOSITE
A method of conveying a glass film composite uses a roll-to-roll process for winding a glass film composite wound on a feed roller by a winding roller through a plurality of conveyance rollers. The glass film composite includes an elongated glass film, and linear resin tapes disposed on one side of the glass film along a longitudinal direction of the glass film at both ends in a width direction of the glass film. The method includes a step of conveying the glass film composite from the feed roller to the winding roller through the plurality of conveyance rollers without passing a state in which the glass film composite is bent so that the resin tapes are directed to the inside.

SKEW CORRECTION STRUCTURE
A correction structure arranged in a feeding path of a document processing device, comprising: a transmitting means consisted of at least a pair of roller set which are arranged symmetrically on the two sides of the feeding path for transmitting the card evenly, a correcting means consisted of a platform movably arranged at the downstream to the roller set, a receptacle formed on the platform, a elastomer arranged in the receptacle for returning the platform to a predefined location, a back wall extended from the platform toward the feeding path, an opening formed on the back wall to let a card go through, and a friction pad arranged at the bottom of the opening to partly jam the opening, wherein the width of the friction pad is less than the width of the feeding path so the friction pad only contacts the center of the card while transmitting the card.

FEEDING UNIT FOR FEEDING A PLASTIC FILM IN PACKAGING MACHINES
A feeding unit for feeding a plastic film in packaging machines for wrapping paper rolls, including: a unit for unwinding the film from a reel; a cutting device adapted to cut the film transversely; a transfer device including, on the right and on the left side of the feeding unit, drive belts configured for engaging the upper and lower faces of the film; and a positioning device including, on the right and on the left side of the unit, a predetermined number of drive belts configured for engaging the upper and lower faces of the film. On each side of the feeding unit, the transfer device comprises two pairs of belts. On each side of the feeding unit, the positioning device comprises a third pair of belts. The three pairs of belts are actuated by independent actuators.

Sheet conveying device and sheet conveying method
A sheet conveying device includes a first roller, a second roller, and a controller. The first roller is configured to rotate in a forward direction for sheet conveyance along a sheet conveying direction. The second roller is disposed downstream with respect to the first roller in the sheet conveying direction and configured to rotate in a forward direction along the sheet conveying direction and in a reverse direction. The controller is configured to control the second roller to rotate in the reverse direction at a timing when a leading end of a sheet that is nipped and conveyed by the first roller reaches a nip of the second roller.
SELECTIVELY LIFTING SUBSTRATES
Example implementations relate to selectively deflecting substrates. One example implementation includes an apparatus to selectively lift a part of a substrate away from a transfer member when the substrate is advancing in a substrate coating system relative to the transfer member, such that, across a width of the substrate, a first part of the substrate is coated by the transfer member and a second part of the substrate, that is lifted by the apparatus, remains uncoated.
