Liquid discharging apparatus
A liquid discharging apparatus is provided capable of preventing liquid from being discharged onto a medium to which any foreign substances adhere. A printing apparatus (10) (liquid discharging apparatus) includes a holding member (21) configured to hold a roll body (R1) on which a medium (M) is wound, a transport unit (40) configured to transport the medium (M) fed from the roll body (R1) held by the holding member (21) along a transport path (FP), a discharging unit (61) configured to discharge liquid onto the medium (M) transported by the transport unit (40), and a vibration unit (34) configured to apply vibration to the medium (M) being transported from the holding member (21) to the transport unit (40). In the transport path (FP), a path on which the medium M to be subjected to vibration by the vibration unit (34) is transported is referred to as a vibration transport path (FP1), and the vibration transport path (FP1) is configured to extend vertically upward as approaching from the holding member (21) to the transport unit (40).
Hologram Transcription Apparatus
Provided is a hologram transcription apparatus including: an exposure part; and a light source part for irradiating light to the exposure part. Here, the exposure part includes a transfer unit for transferring a hologram film, and the exposure part is rotatable to change an angle formed with the light.
Separation unit and a dispenser comprising a separation unit
A separation unit for separating a web material along preformed lines of weakness. The separation unit has a width direction and includes at least a first roller having a rotational axis extending in the width direction and a web width extending in the width direction, and at least a second roller having a rotational axis extending parallel with the rotational axis of the first roller and a web width extending in the width direction. The second roller is positioned at a distance from the first roller. Each of the first and the second rollers is provided with at least one protrusion element extending perpendicularly from the axes. Each of the protrusion elements has a maximum width in the width direction, a maximum radial extension from the rotational axes, an inner portion adjacent to the rotational axes, and an outer portion remote from the rotational axes.

Automated air-pillow dispenser
A transfer and dispensing apparatus is disclosed for the conveying and separation of packaging material, cushions or pillows when needed by the operator. When a packer working over a conveyor receives a box that requires void fill, an operating switch such as a foot pedal is depressed to dispense pillows from the apparatus and into the box in a connected strip. When the operating switch is released, the apparatus stops dispensing pillows, separates the continuous strip of pillows along a transverse perforation in the strip, and ejects the end of the separated segment. The packer can then complete packing the box by placing the severed end of the pillows into the box, advance to the next box, and repeat the process. The transfer and dispensing apparatus may be positioned in any convenient location including adjacent to, above or attached to the inflation device.

DISPENSER FOR ROLLED SHEET MATERIALS WITH BELT DRIVE SYSTEM
The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.
Sheet product dispenser with spring assembly
A dispenser for dispensing sheet product is provided. The dispenser includes a housing with an outlet through which sheet product is dispensed. A knife drum is rotatable with respect to the housing. A knife is movable between a retracted position within the knife drum and an extended position where the knife protrudes outside of the knife drum to cut the sheet product. A cam follower surface is fixed with respect to the housing. A cam follower is attached to the knife and operable to engage the cam follower surface and travel therealong to transition the knife between the retracted position and the extended position. A spring assembly biases the knife drum during rotation toward a predetermined position. The spring assembly comprises a first spring and a second spring. The spring assembly is attached at a single mount position that is fixed with respect to the housing.

SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND SHEET CONVEYING METHOD
A sheet conveying device includes a first roller, a second roller, and a controller. The first roller is configured to rotate in a forward direction for sheet conveyance along a sheet conveying direction. The second roller is disposed downstream with respect to the first roller in the sheet conveying direction and configured to rotate in a forward direction along the sheet conveying direction and in a reverse direction. The controller is configured to control the second roller to rotate in the reverse direction at a timing when a leading end of a sheet that is nipped and conveyed by the first roller reaches a nip of the second roller.
