HANDLING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR HANDLING WEB-SHAPED PACKAGING MATERIAL
A handling device having a holder for gripping web-shaped packaging material, which holder has a curvature in the longitudinal direction of the holder. When the packaging material is gripped by the handling device, a free end section of the packaging material is arched in the transverse direction of the packaging material and projects out from the handling device to be inserted into a processing station of a packaging machine.

A raw material supply device for a separator of a secondary battery includes a conveyor for causing an end portion of the supplied raw material to move to an end portion of the existing raw material; and a bonding unit for bonding the end portion of the supplied raw material and the end portion of the existing raw material. The raw material supply device may automatically bond the existing raw material and the supplied raw material by using ultrasonic waves with respect to the raw material for the separator of the secondary battery in the form of a roll.
Film transportation plate and film transportation system
The disclosure relates to a film transportation plate and a film transportation system for transporting a film web through processing stations of a film packaging machine. The film transportation plate has two opposite lateral edges and, therebetween, at least one mold impression for thermoforming the film web. Retainers for the film web are arranged on the two lateral edges. The retainers are each formed by a fixed clamping surface and at least one clamping jaw, which is movable relative to the clamping surface, for pressing the film web so as to clamp it against the clamping surface. The retainers also each have at least one retaining magnet for attracting the clamping jaw against the clamping surface, and an actuating extension for lifting the clamping jaw off the clamping surface. The film transportation system also includes actuating means which act on the actuating extensions of the clamping jaws.
Film transportation plate and film transportation system
The disclosure relates to a film transportation plate and a film transportation system for transporting a film web through processing stations of a film packaging machine. The film transportation plate has two opposite lateral edges and, therebetween, at least one mold impression for thermoforming the film web. Retainers for the film web are arranged on the two lateral edges. The retainers are each formed by a fixed clamping surface and at least one clamping jaw, which is movable relative to the clamping surface, for pressing the film web so as to clamp it against the clamping surface. The retainers also each have at least one retaining magnet for attracting the clamping jaw against the clamping surface, and an actuating extension for lifting the clamping jaw off the clamping surface. Sheet stock material configuration and apparatus, systems and methods for feeding sheet stock material to a dunnage system
Methods and structures are provided for a dunnage system to facilitate efficient coupling together of supply units of pre-configured sheet stock material, such as, for example, separate units of fanfold stacks of pre-configured sheet stock material, in a manner of continuous supply with a continuous pocket extending longitudinally between the separate supply units, so that they can interact with an expander of the dunnage system without disruption as one supply unit is depleted and a next supply unit is fed through the dunnage system. Also, various methods, apparatus, and systems are provided to facilitate smooth operation of a dunnage machine of the dunnage system to reduce a tendency of the pre-configured sheet stock material to jam and to increase the tendency of dunnage product generated to reflect a desired shape and stability.

Sheet-feeding system and sheet-feeding method
When a remaining amount of a sheet on one original sheet roll is equal to or less than a predetermined remaining amount, a pair of holding pads is brought into a first posture where holding surfaces are opened, and the holding surface of one holding pad is pressed to a joining end portion from the outside of the original sheet roll in a radial direction of another original sheet roll. Further, the holding pad is moved such that the joining end portion is separated toward the outside of the original sheet roll in the radial direction. Further, the posture of the pair of holding pads is changed into a second posture where the holding surfaces approach each other, and the joining end portion is conveyed to a joining part in a state where the joining end portion is sandwiched between the holding surfaces of the pair of holding pads.
Stretching system
An improved stretching system has the possibility of reducing the distance between two successive guide clips, for example. In technical terms, this is solved by using control clips. For example, a control clip can be provided between two successive guide clips and causes the distance between two successive guide clips to be altered by way of a lateral position adjustment by means of a control rail.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR EXTENDING A MESH OVER A LAMINAR MATERIAL
A machine for extending a mesh over a laminar material, including a motorless reel holder shaft with an overrun brake, three clamps through which the mesh runs disposed perpendicularly to the movement of the components to be covered, one of these with a disc cutter. The unrolling of the reel is caused by the advance of at least one of the clamps when closed. It features a control unit, a component detection barrier, and elements for the mesh retained to flex prior to being released upon the component, by moving both clamps together. A method for extending a mesh over a laminar material using the aforementioned machine is also provided.
