SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM AND SHEET PROCESSING METHOD
A sheet processing system comprising: a sheet processing apparatus; and a sheet counting apparatus, wherein the sheet processing apparatus includes: a conveying unit for conveying a sheet to be processed; a determination device for determining the sheet conveyed by the conveying unit; and an accumulation unit for accumulating a rejected sheet on the basis of a determination result given by the determination unit, wherein the sheet counting apparatus includes a counting device for counting the paper sheet, and the paper sheet counting apparatus counts the rejected sheet accumulated on the accumulation unit of the sheet processing apparatus, and having a transmitting unit that transmits an information about the counting result to a receiving unit of the paper sheet processing apparatus.
Sheet processing device
A sheet processing device in an embodiment includes a conveyance path, a stacker, a post processing section, and vertical alignment members. The conveyance path conveys sheets in a conveying direction and stacks the sheets. The stacker restricts a leading end of the conveyed sheets. The stacker is movable in the conveying direction. The post processing section processes the sheets further on an upstream side in the conveying direction than a position where the sheets are supported by the stacker. The vertical alignment members feed the sheets in the conveying direction toward the stacker. The vertical alignment members are enabled to come into contact with a bundle of the sheets supported by the stacker. The vertical alignment members are movable in the conveying direction integrally with the stacker.
IMAGING APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR BINDERY SYSTEMS
Imaging apparatus and methods for bindery systems are disclosed. An example method includes engaging a signature assembly with an end of a separator to cause 1) a first page of the signature assembly to be disposed on a platform and 2) a second page of the signature assembly to be disposed on the side of the platform; drawing the first page toward the platform; and imaging the first page when the first page is on the platform.
