DENTAL FLOSS FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING DENTAL CARIES AND PERIODONTAL DISEASE
The present invention refers to the oral and dental health care field since it refers to a modified and improved dental floss material aimed at preventing the onset and progression of dental caries and periodontal disease.
DENTAL FLOSS, CONTINUOUS DENTAL FLOSS, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONTINUOUS DENTAL FLOSS
Provided is a dental floss that keeps cleaning performance thereof on one hand, and that is easy to handle because of a high rigid portion thereof on the other hand. Dental floss includes: a floss part that is formed by twisting a plurality of filaments together but not tying up the filaments; and tied-up parts that are provided continuously with the floss part, and are formed by tying up the plurality of the filaments, wherein each of the tied-up parts is formed in such a manner that filaments are covered with a contour part in a cross section thereof.
DENTAL FLOSSING PICK
A dental flossing pick includes a body, a lever, and at least one torsion spring. The body may include a first arm and a first jaw, and the lever may include a second arm and a second jaw. The lever may be rotatably coupled to the body, and the at least one torsion spring may be coupled to the body and the lever. The first arm and the second arm may be rotatable toward one another, against a resistance force of the at least one torsion spring, from an open state to a closed state to form a handle. In the closed state, the first jaw and the second jaw may be clamped to one another to form a fork distal to the handle. The fork may include a first prong and a second prong defining therebetween a gap in which a length of dental floss material may be secured.
Shower-Mounted Oral Hygiene System and Method of Use
A shower-mounted oral hygiene system and method of use provides a shower-mountable caddy that enables facilitated access and disposal of dental floss and floss picks. The caddy hingedly joins a lid that forms a depressed orifice and an outer cutting member for accessing and cutting dental floss. The caddy has multiple segregated compartments that contain a dental floss dispenser, multiple floss picks, and a waste compartment for collecting used dental floss. A protrusion member extends from the inside of the compartments to retain the floss container and floss picks. A membrane extends across the opening of the compartments to prevent the floss container, floss picks, and used floss from falling out. The caddy also has a mounting mechanism, such as a suction cup, to mount to a shower wall, drainage holes to drain excess water, and a mirror to enable viewing of the flossing function while showering.
COMPOUND DENTAL FLOSS TIE
Compound dental floss is a single loop or double loop self-ligaturing tie tied to its loop one, two or multiple regular ties. It is used for rubber dam isolation to hold rubber dam sheet in place around the teeth and prevent it from moving or sliding during dental treatment.

COVER WITH INTEGRATED FLOSS DISPENSER FOR TOOTHBRUSHES
The present invention relates to an oral care device. The oral care device features a toothbrush head cover to protect the bristles of a toothbrush and an integrated dental floss storage and dispenser. The oral care device can also come with a paired toothbrush. The floss storage and dispenser allows the user to pull and cut a desired length of dental floss for flossing their teeth while the toothbrush head is securely placed in the toothbrush head cover. The dental floss can be replaced when required and the case can have manual or battery operated lids to access the toothbrush and the floss. The case protects the toothbrush bristles from dirt and debris while also providing dental floss to the user.
Adjustable dental-floss apparatus
The present disclosure refers to an apparatus for flossing teeth having a handle with a fixed anchor point for holding one end of a length of dental floss that passes through an eyelet and is affixed to a breakaway anchor tab on a lever. Breaking the breakaway anchor tab releases one end of the floss so that it may be pulled through a space between teeth. An adjustment lever allows for the easy transition of the flossing loop from tight for the insertion process to slack to enable the flossing process. The guidelines for flossing require that the flossing loop should form the required “C” shape around the base of the tooth.
DualHead Flossing Device
A dual-head flossing device. The dual-head flossing device includes an elongated body having a first end opposite a second end. A first floss head assembly is disposed on the first end, and a second floss head assembly is disposed on the second end. Each of the first and second floss head assemblies include arcuate arms having a length of floss therebetween. In one embodiment, the first and second floss head assemblies each include a pair of arcuate arms with floss therebetween. In this embodiment, the first floss head assembly includes a first pair of arcuate arms parallel to each other, and the second floss head assembly includes a second pair of arcuate arms disposed such that an acute angle is formed therebetween.
Oral Hygiene Assembly
An oral hygiene assembly for performing oral hygiene includes a handle that is elongated for reaching into a user's mouth. A vibration unit is integrated into the handle and the vibration unit has an output shaft extending outwardly from the handle. The output shaft vibrates when the vibration unit is turned on. A plurality of heads is provided and a respective one of the heads is removably attachable to the output shaft of the vibration unit such that the vibration vibrates the respective head.
