Methods, systems, apparatuses, and devices for facilitating dispensing of material and presenting of content
Disclosed herein is a smart dispenser for facilitating dispensing of material and presenting of content. Further, the smart dispenser may include a container, a dispensing mechanism, a storage device, a processing device, and a presentation device. Further, the interior space is configured for storing material. Further, the dispensing mechanism is operationally coupled with the container. Further, the dispensing mechanism is configured for dispensing a dosage of the material through the opening based on a command. Further, the storage device is configured for retrieving dosage data. Further, the processing device is communicatively coupled with the dispensing mechanism and the storage device. Further, the processing device is configured for generating the command based on the dosage data. Further, the presentation device is communicatively coupled with the processing device. Further, the presentation device is configured for presenting a content to a user based on the command.
DENTAL FLOSSER WITH FLOSS TENSIONER
A dental flosser having a handle, a dental floss support mounted to the handle and having first and second projections, each projection defining a tip, a floss dispensing spool mounted to the handle, and a floss collecting spool mounted to the handle. The dental flosser also includes a thumbwheel operable to rotate the collecting spool to cause uptake of floss from the dispensing spool, across the tips of the first and second projections, and onto the collecting spool, and a spool brake member mounted to the handle and operable to fix rotated positions of the dispensing and collecting spools, and to automatically release the dispensing and collecting spools to rotate upon operating the thumbwheel.
COMPOSITE POLISHING STRAND AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A composite polishing strand has a polishing strip for polishing a dental restoration, such as a filling, and may incorporate a floss leader coupled to a polishing strip. The floss leader may be snapped down between teeth and the polishing strip may then be pulled into the interproximal contact area for polishing a dental restoration. A composite polishing strip may also include a threader having an insert end that can be inserted into an interproximal contact area, such as an interproximal subjacent contact area, and pushed through to the opposing side. The threader may then be pulled to locate the polishing strip in the interproximal contact area for polishing the dental restoration. The composite polishing strip having both a threader and floss leader enables two different methods of locating the polishing strip in the interproximal contact area and therefore is very versatile.
Infinity brush
An infinity brush has a flaccid belt configured to define a lemniscate. A plurality of work-contacting segments protrude from and are carried by the flaccid belt. A mechanical drive rotates the flaccid belt. Various embodiments of the flaccid belt include a single lemniscate, a plurality of lemniscates, and various simulated lemniscates. In one embodiment, the infinity brush bristle includes non-cylindrical brush bristles with a longitudinal shaft having at least one diameter transition, while other bristles comprise beads of various oval, circular, and cylindrical geometries.
Oral hygiene instrument
An oral hygiene instrument includes a handle for gripping by a user and a dental floss assembly coupled with the handle. The dental floss assembly includes a support frame and a length of dental floss attached to the support frame for flossing between teeth. The support frame is selectively rotatable relative to the handle around an axis of rotation.
DENTAL FLOSS
A dental floss includes a first strand of material twisted with a second strand of material at a twist density of between 60 twists/meter to 300 twists/meter, inclusive.
FLOSSER
A flosser includes a grip body and a holder which is connected to the grip body and has a first and a second holder arm, and with an interdental space cleaning element which is fastened on the first and second holder arm and extends between the two holder arms, wherein the flosser includes a tongue cleaner for oral hygiene which is arranged in the grip body and which is in the form of a rib-like scraper edge.
Floss feeder
A “Super Floss” and expanding floss carrier which is held in a hand in a similar fashion to the way a toothbrush is held. It has a handle, which can hold extra “Super Floss” and expanding floss and act as a floss dispenser. It is wider in the center of the handle area and becomes narrow toward the ends of the handle. At the end of the floss carrier where it enters a mouth is a funnel, which is wider at the end closest to the handle and narrow toward the tip. The tip is curved so that it can point in between teeth to allow “Super Floss” and expanding floss to be directed between teeth. Fingers are used to direct floss from the dispenser portion of the floss carrier to the funnel portion of the carrier so that the “Super Floss and expanding floss can be then directed into a mouth.
Flosser
Flossers are designed to simplify flossing with braces including facilitating the insertion of floss into and the maneuvering of the floss within the embrasure spaces. The flossers can include an inner prong and an outer prong between which a length of floss extends. The outer prong can be configured to insert between the teeth and the wire of the braces while the inner prong is positioned inside the teeth. While positioned between the wire and the teeth, the outer prong can be maneuvered to thereby floss the embrasure spaces.
