DENTAL FLOSS PRODUCT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The invention relates to a dental floss product and its manufacturing method. The dental floss product consists of a dental floss comprising an operating part for cleaning tooth gaps and two end portions with a gripping surface connected by a joining zone, the first end part being fixed to the first end of the dental floss and the second end is attached to the other end of the dental floss. The ends of the dental floss are permanently fixed around the end portions in the same direction of rotation, and the portion of the dental floss, which extends around the joining zone of the end portions, in the same or opposite direction of rotation. The dental floss is attached to the plate web by rotating it around its longitudinal axis or by rotating the dental floss around the plate web.

Hybrid dental device
A hybrid dental tool is disclosed herein. The hybrid dental tool includes a flossing head and a handle portion. The flossing head can include a filament stretching between the leading arm and a trailing arm. The flossing head can be connected to the handle portion. The handle portion can include features that can receive and retain a pick. The pick can be a soft pick or a hard pick. The handle portion can further include an integrated pick that can be located at a free end of the handle portion.
Dental floss holder
A dental floss holder comprising a holding portion, and a head portion disposed on the upper end thereof and bent obliquely upward from the holding portion. The head portion has first and second arm portions which symmetrically extend from the lower end of the head portion to both sides. Third and fourth arm portions symmetrically extend from the upper end of the head portion to both sides. First and second spaces for tensioning first and second segments of dental floss are formed between tail ends of the first and third arm portions, and the third and fourth arm portions, respectively. A third space for tensioning a third segment of dental floss is formed between tail ends of the fourth and second arm portions. The first and third segments of floss are parallel to the lengthwise direction of the holding portion, with the second segment of floss perpendicular thereto.
DENTAL FLOSSING PICK
A dental flossing pick includes a body, a lever, and at least one torsion spring. The body may include a first arm and a first jaw, and the lever may include a second arm and a second jaw. The lever may be rotatably coupled to the body, and the at least one torsion spring may be coupled to the body and the lever. The first arm and the second arm may be rotatable toward one another, against a resistance force of the at least one torsion spring, from an open state to a closed state to form a handle. In the closed state, the first jaw and the second jaw may be clamped to one another to form a fork distal to the handle. The fork may include a first prong and a second prong defining therebetween a gap in which a length of dental floss material may be secured.
Dental flossing device
A dental flossing device comprising a first body circumscribing a void adapted to receive one or more fingers of a user, an outward-facing surface, opposite from the void, having a first segment comprising at least one pair of cleats arranged to define a circumferential groove for receiving and carrying one or more revolutions of the dental floss formed by wrapping the dental floss along the circumferential groove. A second segment of the outward-facing surface includes a fastener comprising a depression, a crown with a base wall and a niche in the base wall, and a pedestal that connects the base wall of the crown to a floor of the depression. The base wall, niche and the pedestal are configured to provide a space located between the floor of the depression and the base wall to receive and secure a free end of the dental floss. The device permits users to easily hold and manipulate the dental floss into position for flossing, eliminating the problems associated with gripping dental floss directly with the hands.
Improved Drinking Straws and Manufacturing Process
Provided are improved drinking straws comprising an integrated device providing an anti-outflow capability, methods for their use, and processes for their manufacture. Specifically, the drinking straw is formed substantially of a cellulosic material and wherein the drinking straw and the device providing the anti-outflow capability comprising a flexible flap having a fixed end affixed to an interior surface of a sidewall of the drinking straw, and a part of the flexible flap obscuring an inlet orifice passing through the sidewall adjacent to the flexible flap and forming a liquid tight seal when a reduced pressure condition exists within the interior flow passage of the drinking straw.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ORAL PH CHANGE
Disclosed is a new method, and a system, for increasing the pH of a composition applied on teeth and/or gums. The composition is gelable under the influence of a pH change. The pH change typically is a pH increase in the event of a direct pH-triggered gelation. The pH change typically is a pH decrease in the event of gelation induced by ions, such as calcium ions, released from a pH-sensitive carrier. The device comprises a dispensing unit for the composition, a distal end of which is adapted to apply said substance onto teeth or gums. The device further comprises an electrode system comprising first and second electrodes, the first electrode being adapted to be held against the composition at a location at or near teeth or gums, and the second electrode being adapted to be held against the composition at a location away from teeth or gums, The electrode system is adapted so as to provide an electrical potential difference of 1.5 to 10 Volt between the electrodes.
Packaging for lengths of dental floss
Packaging for individual strands of dental floss. The packaging may include a container defining a chamber having a dispensing portion. An insert is positioned in the chamber and includes a first panel defining a first edge and a second panel. The second panel defines a passage extending between its sides. The second panel also defines a second edge positioned on an opposite side of the passage as the first edge. The package also includes a serpentine floss guide path defined by the container, the first panel, and the second panel. The serpentine floss guide path extends from the dispensing portion, along one side of the first panel, around and over the first edge to one side of the second panel, through the passage, and around and over the second edge. Strands of floss extend along the serpentine floss path and may be removed from the container one at a time by grasping and pulling the end positioned at the dispensing portion.
