Kit and Method for Home Use for Interproximal Reduction (IPR) Stripping of Teeth for Braces or Aligners
An interproximal reduction (IPR) kit and method for using the same. The patient takes their own dental impression and submits it to a dental service provider for a treatment plan. A set of aligners based on the treatment plan are then delivered to the patient as part of a kit. The kit also includes a set of written instructions and/or a treatment diagram and a plurality of strips used to reduce the widths of specific spots of the patient's teeth according to the treatment plan. The patient follows the reapproximation instructions or is instructed to go to a website for supervision for the performance of the reapproximation process. After sufficient instruction, the patient applies the plurality of strips to the correct spots between their teeth. Once reapproximation is complete, the patient is ready to begin wearing the aligners as dictated by the treatment plan.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING A SET OF TEETH AND CLEANING MEMBER FOR USE THEREIN
The invention relates to a device for cleaning a set of teeth, comprising a handle, a drive arranged on or in the handle and a cleaning member connected movably to the handle and drivably to the drive.
A protection against overloading can here be arranged between the cleaning member and the drive. The overload protection can comprise a slipping coupling, for instance a magnetic coupling.
In addition or instead, the drive can comprise an electric motor and a rechargeable battery, wherein the rechargeable battery can be connected to a USB connection on the handle.
The invention further relates to a cleaning member which is evidently intended for application in such a device.
TRILOBAL YARNS FOR APPLICATION ON DENTAL FLOSS, DENTAL FLOSS INCLUDING THE SAME AND USE OF TRILOBAL YARNS IN THE MANUFACTURE OF DENTAL FLOSS
The present invention refers to yarns made of hollow trilobal cross section filaments, comprising from 90 to 99% of polypropylene, and between 1 and 10% of other polyolefin resins, for the application on dental floss. This invention additionally refers to the production process of the yarns made of hollow trilobal cross section filaments. This invention additionally refers to dental floss comprising hollow trilobal cross section filaments, and the use of hollow trilobal cross section filaments for the manufacture of dental floss. The yarn described in this invention has linear density or title in the range from 400 to 1200 dtex, and it is twisted with a twist level from 10 to 160 twists per meter.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING INTERDENTAL SPACES
A device for cleaning interdental spaces includes a housing that forms a handle. The device also includes a brush holder for holding an interdental brush, and a drive device which is configured to generate rotational and translational movement of the brush holder and/or of an interdental brush held in the brush holder.
Medication reminder toothbrush
A medical device has a receptacle and a toothbrush. The receptacle has a container and a closure. The container has an open end and a closed end. The toothbrush has a stalk and bristles. The stalk is operatively associated with the closed end and the bristles. The closure selectively closes the open end.
Dental Flosser with Floss Tensioner
A dental flosser includes a handle, a floss support coupled to the handle, a floss dispensing spool coupled to the handle, a floss collecting spool coupled to the handle, a thumbwheel coupled to the handle, and a spool brake coupled to the handle. The spool brake is configured to move between a first position where the spool brake prevents rotation of the floss dispensing spool and/or the floss collecting spool and a second position where the spool brake allows rotation of the floss dispensing spool and/or the floss collecting spool. The spool brake includes a release arm accessible from an exterior of the dental flosser and configured to move the spool brake between the first position and the second position.
FLOSS DISPENSER
A device includes a floss assembly comprising floss wound around a spool, an insert comprising a support surface and a post configured to support the floss assembly, and a housing having a front portion and a back portion. The front portion defines a front aperture and the back portion defines a back aperture. The front aperture and the back aperture are configured to receive the insert such that the support surface interfaces with the back portion and the post interfaces with the front portion.
Dental floss insertion device
A dental floss insertion device for inserting an end of a length of dental floss into an enclosed oral space. The device may include a body and a tip attached to the body and cooperating with the body to define a floss guide path. A first roller may be positioned on a first side of the guide path and a second roller may be positioned on a second side of the guide path. The second roller may be moveable toward and away from the first roller to open and close a nip that receives the length of floss, thereby allowing a user to apply a compressive force on a piece of floss located between the first and second rollers while simultaneously rolling the second roller to advancing the end of the length of floss along the guide path, through the distal orifice, and into an enclosed oral space.
DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE
An oral hygiene system including a head with a base portion with arms extending to support a gum sweep and flossing filament. The system may include removeable heads with different configurations directed to different oral environments and uses.
Plant stem cell product treatments
Embodiments of the invention include plant stem cell products and treatment methods using the products. In some embodiments, the products may include extracts of plant stem cells, such as apple stem cells, and an aerosolizing device configured to create an aerosol from the plant stem cell products and to deliver the aerosol to the lung via inhalation. Treatment methods include aerosol inhalation of the plant stem cell products.
