High speed multi-bin card collation system
An automated high speed multi-bin card collation system that takes die cut greeting cards at high speeds and diverts them on a customer by customer basis into multiple bins. A series of diverters are included that actuate between customer jobs to divert and collate the jobs independently into the bins. Each bin has a retractable floor that allows the individualized jobs to be collated prior to dropping onto a conveyor system. The conveyor then conveys the collated card jobs to a downstream location.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR RECEIVING AN ITEM
Systems, devices and methods for receiving an item in a receptacle are disclosed. Features are disclosed for receiving and guiding an item in a receiving space of a receptacle so as to attenuate or remove the impact force of the item on the receptacle. Some embodiments of the disclosure include a bumper having an impact surface which absorbs most or all of the impact force of the item and thereby mitigates or removes the imposition of cyclic impact loads on the receptacle from repeated receipt of items. The bumper may be structurally and/or functionally de-coupled or otherwise physically separated from the receptacle such that an advantageous division of labor is created between absorbing the impact and receiving the item. This disclosure may be useful, for example, in modern industrial operations where a high volume of items are received daily, such as in mail sorting and handling operations.

SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
A sheet conveying apparatus, including: a support portion configured to support a second sheet different from a first sheet among a plurality of sheets when the first sheet located undermost among the plurality of sheets conveyed by a conveyance portion is placeable on a placement portion; and a restriction unit configured to bring the second sheet into a first state in order to restrict downward movement of the second sheet at a restriction position located downstream of a support position at which the support portion supports the second sheet when the first sheet is placeable on the placement portion, and to bring the second sheet into a second state in order to remove or reduce a restriction force for restricting the downward movement of the second sheet to less than a restriction force in the first state after bringing the second sheet into the first state at the restriction position.
BUSINESS SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM, BUSINESS SHEET PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A business sheet processing system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes at least one memory configured to store instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to: recognize a business sheet placed in a first area of a basket; control, based on the recognition result, extraction of the business sheet from the first area of the basket by a robot; determine whether the business sheet is sortable; control the robot to proceed a business sheet extracted by the robot and determined to be sortable to a sorting process; and control the robot to move a business sheet extracted by the robot and determined to be unsortable to a second area of the basket.

Apparatus for delivery item sorting integrity
An apparatus that substantially improves the stack quality of delivery items in a delivery item sorting machine by ensuring uniformity of the orientation of the delivery items. The apparatus accommodates toolless installation in the delivery item sorting machine and economical manufacturing options. The apparatus substantially prevents delivery item disorientation and undesired departure of delivery items from the sorting machine. The apparatus reduces operator safety concerns, and increases the net speed of delivery item processing.
Device for transporting piece goods
The problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a facility for supporting sensitive piece goods without having to manually assemble and disassemble auxiliary structures, which have to be returned to their place of origin after transportation. Such solutions are known from prior art but require a lot of time and work. This problem is solved by a transport frame having a simple mechanism that does not require manual intervention. To this end, on both sides of a loading shaft, a plurality of supports stacked on one another are arranged in a transport container and, in an unfolded state, are in a release position so that the piece goods can be placed on a bottom support without being obstructed by the loading shaft. A loaded support presses the next higher support into a receiving position so that, without having to interact from outside, the piece goods can be loaded into the transport frame one after the other.
Paper sheet storage device and paper sheet handling device
A paper sheet storage device includes: a storage that stores a paper sheet inclined with respect to a horizontal direction in a storage space narrower than the paper sheet in width; and a guide portion that guides the paper sheet so as to cause the paper sheet to freely fall in the storage space such that all sides of the paper sheet are inclined at an angle different from the horizontal direction.
