Sheet conveying device and image forming system therewith
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet conveying passage, an upper conveying guide provided in the sheet conveying passage and facing the upper surface of a sheet, a lower conveying guide facing the lower surface of the sheet, a conveying member conveying the sheet along the sheet conveying passage, a sheet stack tray arranged above the upper conveying guide. The upper conveying guide is swingable up and down, with one end part of it in the sheet conveying direction or in the sheet width direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction serving as a pivot shaft. The sheet stack tray has a movable part making contact with the upper conveying guide at least when it swings, and the movable part is movable between a sheet receiving position where it forms a sheet stack surface and a retracted position where it has swung upward from the sheet receiving position.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a stacking portion on which a print medium printed by a printing unit configured to perform printing is stacked, a discharge unit configured to discharge the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion, a passage forming portion arranged facing the stacking portion and configured to form a discharge passage of the print medium together with the stacking portion, and an outlet port located in a downstream end of the stacking portion and a downstream end of the passage forming portion in a conveying direction of the print medium. The passage forming portion includes an opening/closing portion which is displaceable between a closed position for forming the discharge passage and an open position for opening the stacking portion.

The passage forming portion includes a take-out port through which a user can take out, from the stacking portion, the print medium printed by the printing unit.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a post-processing apparatus for an image forming apparatus which arranges paper ejected from an ejection part of an image forming apparatus on a fence for post-processing. The post-processing apparatus includes a paddle guide which includes a paddle arm to which a paddle wing is coupled and a pusher positioned adjacent to the ejection part and stands by at a home position until the paper is ejected, a driving part which vertically moves the paddle guide, rotates when the paper is ejected from the ejection part to move the paddle guide downward so that the pusher presses the paper downward and drops the paper on a stacking base, and a paddle wing which vertically moves according to a vertical movement of the paddle guide, moves downward according to a downward movement of the paddle guide, arranges the paper dropped on the stacking base toward the fence positioned adjacent to the stacking base, and then, moves upward with an upward movement of the paddle guide according to operation of the driving part, wherein vertical movements of the pusher and the paddle wing are performed by a vertical movement of the paddle guide performed due to single unit periodic operation of the driving part.
LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD, LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE, AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A sheet conveyor includes a conveyance belt configured to rotate to convey a sheet on which a liquid has been applied in a conveyance direction, and a guide configured to guide the sheet to the conveyance belt, a position of the guide being variable in the conveyance direction.
Printing apparatus, method of controlling printing apparatus, and storage medium
A printing apparatus can prevent a print medium from buckling during discharging. In a case in which the print conveyance speed determined by the print mode is higher than or equal to a specified speed, the print medium after printing is conveyed to a discharging tray at the print conveyance speed, and in a case in which the print conveyance speed determined by the print mode is lower than the specified speed, the print medium after printing is conveyed to the discharging tray at the specified speed increased from the print conveyance speed.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit; a reverse conveying roller; a discharge unit including a reverse conveying path, an openable and closable member, an open/close sensor, a discharge tray, a sheet conveyance unit, and a failure detector; and a controller. If the controller determines that the sheet conveyance unit is in failure based on a detection result of the failure detector and determines that the openable and closable member is closed based on a detection result of the open/close sensor, the controller prohibits discharge of the sheet to the discharge tray and permits conveyance of the sheet to the reverse conveying path, and if the controller determines that the sheet conveyance unit is in failure and determines that the openable and closable member is open, the controller prohibits the conveyance of the sheet to the reverse conveying path.
Sheet stacking device, sheet post processing device, and image forming system
A sheet stacking device includes a sheet outlet, a lower discharge roller, and a paddle member. The paddle member is disposed coaxially to a rotation shaft of the lower discharge roller, and is driven to rotate independently of the lower discharge roller in the same direction as the lower discharge roller, so as to contact downward an upstream part in a discharging direction of a sheet discharged through the sheet outlet. The paddle member includes a base part in which the rotation shaft is inserted, an arm part protruding in a direction separating from an axis center of the base part, and a paddle elastic part protruding from the arm part. A rotation speed of the paddle member is the same as a rotation speed of a discharge roller pair when the sheet passes through a nip of the discharge roller pair.
