The stacker module comprises a loading surface (90) configured to receive a plurality of folding boxes and to descend vertically as the number of folding boxes on the loading surface increases, and a linearly movable ejector (76) configured to be moved from a retracted position (RP) to an extended position (DP).The stacker further comprises an upper guide (110), configured to move between a clearing position (CP) which is vertically distant from the upper surface of the stack, and a guiding position (GP), in which the upper guide is located closer to the upper surface of the stack, and wherein the upper guide is in the guiding position when the ejector is moved from the retracted position to the evacuation position.
Image forming system, image forming apparatus, and sheet processing device
An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus, a sheet processing device, and control circuitry. The image forming apparatus forms an image on a sheet. The sheet processing device performs post-processing on the sheet. The sheet processing device includes a first conveyance path through which the sheet is conveyed and subjected to the post-processing and a second conveyance path through which the sheet is conveyed without the post-processing. In response to an instruction of print jobs including both a print job of one or N copies subjected to the post-processing and a print job not subjected to the post-processing, the circuitry executes the job not subjected to the post-processing during execution of an M-th copy of the job subjected to the post-processing and causes the sheet to be conveyed through the second conveyance path, where N is two or greater and M satisfies 1≤M<N.

Printing apparatus, control method therefor and storage medium
A printing apparatus includes a feeding roller configured to feed a printing sheet stacked on a stacking unit, a conveyance roller configured to convey the printing sheet fed by the feeding roller, a printing unit configured to print the printing sheet conveyed by the conveyance roller, a conveyance control unit configured to control conveyance of printing sheets so that the trailing edge of a preceding sheet as a printing sheet precedingly fed from the stacking unit and the leading edge of a succeeding sheet as a printing sheet succeedingly fed from the stacking unit overlap each other, and a determination unit configured to determine whether to convey the succeeding sheet to a position facing the printing unit while keeping an overlap state between the preceding sheet and the succeeding sheet.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A printing apparatus, in a case of performing double-sided printing on a plurality of sheets, performs an overlap reversing operation by controlling a first sheet to stay in a reversing path to position at least a trailing edge of the first sheet relative to a second direction in a conveying path when conveying the first sheet to the reversing path after completion of a printing operation on a first surface of the first sheet, and controls the reversing roller to convey the first sheet and a second sheet fed by a feed roller next to the first sheet, in a state in which the first sheet staying in the reversing path and a leading edge of the second sheet relative to the second direction overlap each other, after completion of the printing operation on a first surface of the second sheet.
Device and method for storing value documents, in particular banknotes, and storage device and value document processing system
An apparatus and a corresponding method involve storing value documents, in particular bank notes, to a storage device and to a value-document processing system. A stacker wheel is arranged to receive value documents and dispense them one after the other. A transport device is arranged to receive the value documents dispensed one after the other by the stacker wheel and to transport them in such a way that the value documents come to lie on top of each other in a shingled manner. A storage device for storing the value documents lying on top of each other in a shingled manner is provided.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a first sheet conveyance path, a second sheet conveyance path that branches from the first sheet conveyance path at a branch portion on the first sheet conveyance path and merges with the first sheet conveyance path at a merging portion, and a control unit. The control unit controls a guide unit so as to guide a first sheet conveyed first in the sheet bundle to be processed by a sheet processing unit to the second sheet conveyance path, and guide a second sheet following the first sheet to the first sheet conveyance path to merge the first and second sheets in an overlapping manner at the merging portion, and guide at least one of sheets following the second sheet among a plurality of sheets constituting the sheet bundle to the second sheet conveyance path.
SHEET DELIVERY UNIT, A SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING A SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE
A sheet delivery unit has at least one rear sheet stop. The sheet delivery unit has at least one forward stack limiter. The sheet delivery unit has at least one upper sheet transportation system, designed for hanging transportation of sheets, with at least one imbrication device for the imbricated, hanging transportation of at least two sheets. Processed substrate in the form of a sequence of sheets spaced apart from one another in a transportation direction, is supplied in this transportation directed to a sheet delivery unit of the sheet processing machine. At least during a sheet braking procedure, at least at times, at least two sheets are guided in a hanging manner by the use of an upper sheet transportation system, configured for the hanging transportation of sheets, of the sheet delivery unit, and are transported in an imbricated arrangement at least also in the transportation direction.
Printing apparatus and printing method
A printing apparatus conveys preceding and following sheets to form an overlapping portion where a trailing edge of the preceding sheet and a leading edge of the following sheet overlap each other at a printing position facing an ejection port surface of a printing unit, and prints the preceding and following sheets by ejecting ink from ejection ports based on a relative movement between the printing unit and the preceding and following sheets. The printing unit delays ink ejection timing for printing the overlapping portion of a sheet located closer to the ejection port surface at a position facing the ejection ports from ink ejection timing for printing a non-overlapping portion where the preceding sheet and the following sheet do not overlap each other in one of the preceding sheet and the following sheet.
