Recording apparatus
A printer includes a corrugating section disposed on an upstream side of a line head, the corrugating section being configured to alternately form crests and troughs in a sheet in a width direction which intersects a medium transport direction, a relaxing section that can be switched between a relaxing position in which the corrugations formed by the corrugating section are relaxed and a maintaining position in which the corrugations are maintained with respect to the sheet on a downstream side of the line head between the line head and branch points of transport paths and a controller configured to control the switching of the relaxing section between the relaxing position and the maintaining position. The controller switches the relaxing section depending on a transport destination of the recorded sheet.

Sheet Conveying Apparatus
A sheet conveying apparatus includes: a conveying roller configured to convey a sheet in a conveying direction; driven rollers arranged with intervals in a width direction intersecting with the conveying direction, the driven rollers being opposed to the conveying roller in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction and the width direction; and coil springs provided corresponding to the driven rollers respectively and serving as rotating shafts for rotatably supporting the driven rollers, wherein the coil springs include a right-handed twining coil spring and a left-handed twining coil spring.
Sheet processing device and image forming system
A sheet processing device for pressing a fold line formed in a sheet, the sheet processing device comprises a pressing portion configured to press a sheet while rotating about a rotation axis. The pressing portion includes a pressing unit having a projecting shape, disposed over a predetermined range in a direction of the rotation axis to have a position in a rotation direction about the rotation axis changed according to the direction of the rotation axis, and an impact absorbing member provided at a part of the pressing unit of the pressing portion, abutting on the sheet at first in the rotation direction of the pressing portion, the impact absorbing member configured to reduce impact upon abutting on the sheet.

SHEET STACKING DEVICE, SHEET POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH SHEET POST-PROCESSING DEVICE
A sheet stacking device includes: a pair of sheet discharge rollers having a drive roller; a stacking tray for stacking sheets; a blade member; and a controller. The controller executes: stop processing in which the blade member is stopped at a stop position during discharging of the sheet; and rotation processing in which the blade member is rotated by one turn before a rear end of the sheet passes through the pair of sheet discharge rollers and the sheet is placed on the stacking tray. The blade is configured, in the rotation processing, to make the sheet fall on the stacking tray by beating a rear end portion of the sheet from above, and to be brought into contact with the rear end portion of the sheet which falls on the stacking tray from above while pulling the sheet toward an upstream side in the sheet discharge direction.

CONVEYING-DIRECTION SWITCHING DEVICE AND SHEET HANDLING DEVICE
A conveying-direction switching device includes: a shaft; and a plurality of blades that are pivotally supported by the shaft and that switch a conveying direction of a sheet conveyed through a conveyance path to a predetermined direction toward a delivering/discharging section for the sheet included in a housing unit that houses the sheet by winding the sheet around a drum together with a belt-like member, wherein the plurality of blades include: a first blade group that is pivotally supported in a neighborhood of a center of the shaft and that is opposed to the delivering/discharging section; and a second blade group that is pivotally supported on an outer side of the shaft as compared with the first blade group.
Ink-jet recording apparatus
An ink-jet recording apparatus includes: an image recorder; a first supporter including support ribs extending to positions under the image recorder; an ink receiver disposed downstream of the support ribs; first and second roller pairs disposed downstream of the first supporter; a guide; and a protrusion disposed between the ink receiver and the first roller pair and having an upper end located below upper ends of the support ribs and above a first imaginary line connecting between a nip position of the first roller pair and a downstream end of the ink receiver. A distance between an upstream end of the ink receiver and a nip position of the second roller pair is less than a length of a first-size sheet and greater than a length of a second-size sheet. The protrusion is disposed, in a widthwise direction, in a region through which the second-size sheet is conveyed.
