Information processing method, information processing program, information processing apparatus, and image forming apparatus
An information processing method performs steps for an information processing apparatus to communicate with an image forming apparatus having first and second sheet output sections. The second sheet output section can be switched between a close position to serve to guide a sheet to the first sheet output section, and an open position not to guide the sheet to the first sheet output section but to stack the sheet. The method inputs a type of sheet, acquires information indicating whether the second sheet output section is in an open or closed state, and transmits image information to the image forming apparatus. When the sheet type recommends the sheet be output to the second sheet output section and the second sheet output section is in the closed state, a message is output to prompt to switch the second sheet output section into the open position before the image information is transmitted.
Media stacker to receive media sheets
In some examples, a media stacker includes a drawer defining a chamber, and a plurality of moving elements to engage media sheets of different sizes as the media sheets are output from a system. The plurality of moving elements are to slide the media sheets to a target position in the drawer, and the plurality of moving elements are to disengage from the media sheets once the media sheets have reached the target position. A plurality of retaining elements are to engage the media sheets of the different sizes as the media sheets slide into the drawer.

In some examples, a media stacker includes a drawer defining a chamber, and a plurality of moving elements to engage media sheets of different sizes as the media sheets are output from a system. The plurality of moving elements are to slide the media sheets to a target position in the drawer, and the plurality of moving elements are to disengage from the media sheets once the media sheets have reached the target position. A plurality of retaining elements are to engage the media sheets of the different sizes as the media sheets slide into the drawer.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND INSPECTION TABLE
An image forming apparatus includes a body, an image former to form an image on a recording medium, and an inspection table on which the recording medium is placeable. The inspection table includes a placement surface on which the recording medium, on which the image is formed by the image former, is placeable for inspection of the recording medium, a movement support to movably support the placement surface between a use position and a non-use position, and a fixing member to fix the movement support to the body of the image forming apparatus.

Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an ejecting port, an ejected sheet tray and a guiding member. The guiding member is provided at a position on the sheet stacking face to contact with a tip end of the ejected sheet at the position. The guiding member includes a base member attached to the sheet stacking face, a movable guide for stacking the ejected sheet and a biasing member. The movable guide is turnably supported on the base member around a supporting shaft. The biasing member is interposed between the base member and the movable guide at an upstream side from the supporting shaft to bias the movable guide upwardly. The movable guide is turned downwardly against a biasing force of the biasing member by weight of stacked sheets.
Reception apparatus
A reception apparatus that receives an article discharged from a processing apparatus includes a first rod, a second rod, a reception sheet and two side rods. The reception sheet has flexibility, is supported by the first rod and the second rod and receives the article between the first rod and the second rod. The two side rods can rotate, extend and contract independently from each other with respect to the processing apparatus while respectively supporting both end portions of the second rod.
