MOVABLE GUIDES FOR MEDIA TRAYS
According to examples, an apparatus may include a guide frame, a standard position pawl movably attached to the guide frame, the standard position pawl to engage a standard pawl detent. The apparatus may also include a custom position pawl movably engaged with the guide frame, the custom position pawl to engage custom pawl teeth of a rack. The apparatus may further include a switch in movable engagement with the guide frame, the switch being movable between a first position at which the custom position pawl is maintained at a disengaged position with respect to the custom pawl teeth of the rack and a second position at which the custom position pawl is free to move between the disengaged position and an engaged position with respect to the custom pawl teeth of the rack.
Sheet accumulation equipment
An equipment of accumulation of sheets forms a stack of sheets on an accumulation plane by means of driving belts and diverters arranged along the path of the sheets and jump on the accumulation plane. The height of the jump is modified by shifting vertically the accumulation plane with respect to the diverters according to number and/or thickness of the sheets. The diverters can be shifted according to the length of the sheets to be accumulated, while a series of arrest lugs delimits at the rear the area of collection of the sheets and a forwarding mechanism with a pair of output rollers forwards the stack of accumulated sheets when the lugs are released.
Media stops
An example apparatus includes a media receiving portion having a leading edge receiving region and a trailing edge receiving region for receiving media traveling onto the media receiving portion in a direction from the trailing edge receiving portion the leading edge receiving portion. The example apparatus further includes a leading edge stop coupled to the media receiving portion at the leading edge receiving portion. The leading edge stop is resiliently coupled to the media receiving portion to bias against movement of the leading edge stop from a resting position.
Medium discharging apparatus and medium processing apparatus
The medium discharging apparatus includes a medium receiving portion that includes a first portion and a second portion that is provided on the first portion and that is configured to be displaced between a retracted position and an advanced position, a moving member configured to move between a first position and a second position, in which the moving member pushes and moves the second portion towards the advanced position as the moving member moves from the first position towards the second position and in which the moving member is moved to the first position as the second portion is displaced to the retracted position, a pushing member that pushes the moving member towards the second position, and a restricting member configured to switch between a restricting state that restricts a movement of the moving member towards the second position, and a non-restricting state that releases the restricting state.

A loading apparatus including a support surface facing forward and inclined vertically downward from a paper exit of a printer body and configured to come into contact with a first surface of a printed material, the first surface forming a vertically downward surface in the paper exit, a braking member provided near the paper exit and configured to come into contact with the first surface and to hold a part, whixh contacts therewith, of the printed material, and a stopper configured to come into contact with a downstream leading end of the printed material at a paper ejection direction in which the printed material is ejected. The stopper is configured to be located at a first position and a second position on the support surface, in which a distance between the second position and the paper exit is greater than a distance between the first position and the paper exit.

A printing apparatus includes a tray on which a sheet is to be stacked, a container configured to store the tray such that the tray can be pulled out, a first guide unit configured to guide a slide of the tray in a pull-out direction, a second guide unit spaced apart from the first guide unit in a widthwise direction, a first regulating portion provided in the container and configured to regulate, by abutting against the tray, a tilt of the tray to one direction in the widthwise direction; and a second regulating portion provided in the container and configured to regulate, by abutting against the tray, a tilt of the tray to the other direction in the widthwise direction.
RECORDING MATERIAL PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
Provided is a recording material processing apparatus including: a recording material support portion configured to support a recording material loaded thereon from below; a contact member disposed on a side of the recording material loaded on the recording material support portion and configured to be pushed by an edge portion of the recording material, the contact member being configured to move to a side opposite to the side of the recording material; an elastic member configured to receive a load from the contact member pushed by the edge portion of the recording material; and a member support portion disposed without contacting the recording material loaded on the recording material support portion and configured to support the contact member.
Sheet discharge device
A sheet discharge device includes a discharge member, a discharge tray and a stopper. The discharge tray includes a groove and a fixed magnetic body. The groove is formed along a discharge direction. The fixed magnetic body is disposed at a predetermined position along the groove. The stopper includes a guide piece, a contact piece and a moving magnet body. The guide piece is engaged with the groove in a slidable manner. With the contact piece, the leading edge of the sheet is allowed to be come into contact. The moving magnetic body generates a magnetic force in a direction in which the moving magnetic body and the fixed magnetic body are attracted each other. When the guide piece is slid along the groove and the moving magnetic body reaches the predetermined position, a resistance is applied to a sliding movement of the guide piece by the magnetic force.
Sheet discharge device
A sheet discharge device includes a discharge member, a discharge tray and a stopper. The discharge tray includes a groove and a fixed magnetic body. The groove is formed along a discharge direction. The fixed magnetic body is disposed at a predetermined position along the groove. The stopper includes a guide piece, a contact piece and a moving magnet body. The guide piece is engaged with the groove in a slidable manner. With the contact piece, the leading edge of the sheet is allowed to be come into contact. The moving magnetic body generates a magnetic force in a direction in which the moving magnetic body and the fixed magnetic body are attracted each other. When the guide piece is slid along the groove and the moving magnetic body reaches the predetermined position, a resistance is applied to a sliding movement of the guide piece by the magnetic force.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A medium receiving tray has a first tray and a second tray. A movable support having a second support surface for supporting media is disposed in the second tray. When the medium receiving tray is in a first state, the movable support is positioned above a first support surface of the first tray. When the medium receiving tray is switched from the first state to a second state, a free end is detached from the downstream end of the first support surface and displaced downward, and the second support surface is thereby inclined upward toward the downstream in a medium discharging direction.
