BILL STORAGE UNIT OF AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE
A bill storage unit of an automated teller machine according to an embodiment includes: a lower cassette and an upper cassette which have bills stored therein and are vertically stacked; an external control board disposed outside the lower cassette and the upper cassette to perform power supply and communication signal transmission to the lower cassette and the upper cassette; first and second internal control boards electrically connected to the external control board and disposed inside the lower cassette and the upper cassette to perform power supply and communication signal transmission to each of components inside the lower cassette and components inside the upper cassette; a plurality of connectors interconnected to electrically connect the external control board and the first and second internal control boards; and a position alignment means configured to, when the upper cassette is being stacked on the lower cassette, guide the plurality of connectors to be interconnected at correct positions.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a recording unit, a discharge unit that discharges a medium on which recording is performed by the recording unit, and a medium receiving unit that receives a medium discharged by the discharge unit, and a medium can be fed to an optional device attached to an apparatus main body from the discharge unit. The discharge unit includes a discharge roller that discharges a medium, a forming unit that forms a medium to be discharged, and a detection unit that detects a stacking height of a medium stacked on the medium receiving unit and is located at a position where the detection unit interferes with the optional device when the optional device is attached, the detection unit and the forming unit are integrally configured, and the detection unit and the forming unit are configured to be integrally attached to and removed from the apparatus main body.
Media catchers
In an example, a media catcher may include a first frame member and a second frame member spaced away from the first frame member along a lateral direction, thereby defining a catcher width of the media catcher. Additionally, the media catcher may also include a device interface disposed at a top end of the first frame member or the second frame member. The device interface may attach the media catcher to an imaging device. The media catcher may further include a catch panel extending between the first frame member and the second frame member to catch and support media.

PROCESSING DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device as a processing device includes: a recording unit accommodated in a housing and configured to perform recording on a medium; and a medium accommodating unit that accommodates the medium discharged from the housing. The medium accommodating unit includes: a sheet-shaped accommodating member; a rotating shaft provided inside the housing and to which one end of the accommodating member is connected; and an operating portion provided separably from the housing and to which the other end of the accommodating member is connected. The accommodating member is wound around the rotating shaft and accommodated inside the housing when the operating portion is mounted on the housing. The accommodating member is fed from the rotating shaft so that the medium is accommodated when the operating portion is separated from the housing.
Interface housings to couple a scanner and a sheet stacker
Some examples of a document scanning system can include a scanner and a sheet output stacker. The stacker includes an upper surface configured to mate with the scanner configured to scan and transfer contents of a paper document. The stacker is configured to receive paper sheets from the scanner. The stacker includes multiple, upward extending interface housings positioned on the upper surface. The multiple interface housings are configured to be received in respective multiple receiving structures in the scanner, and are configured to mechanically and electrically couple the sheet output stacker and the scanner. The interface housings allow care-free electrical and mechanical pairing of a scanner to a stacker with no tools or adjustments. Simply positioning the scanner on the stacker such that the interface housings are aligned with the receiving structures results in the scanner being automatically guided into place and connected to the stacker through gravity.

SHEET LOADING DEVICE
The rotational pin and the lock pin are laterally provided in the right and left first brackets that are fixed to the right and left side surfaces of the sheet loading tray respectively, and furthermore, the right and left second brackets are fixed to the right and left of the one side surfaces of the casing. When the sheet loading tray reaches the sheet loading position, the lock pin is made to enter the sheet loading tray lock groove formed on the right and left second brackets to thereby lock and hold the sheet loading tray at the sheet loading tray storage position, along with an action of rotating the sheet loading tray about the rotational pin fitting into the sheet loading tray support groove formed on the right and left second brackets from the sheet loading position to the sheet loading tray storage position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a stacking tray on which a sheet is stacked, a cover unit, and an apparatus main body having an image forming unit. The cover unit forms a sheet storage portion storing the sheet between the cover unit and the stacking tray, and covering the sheet stacked on the stacking tray. The cover unit includes a first cover portion attached to a second cover portion that rotates about a rotating shaft at a position on a sheet rear end side in a sheet conveying direction to open and close an opening that leads to the sheet storage portion. An exterior surface of the second cover portion faces outside the sheet storage portion when the second cover portion is closed to close the opening and faces up in a vertical direction when the second cover portion is in an open state where the opening is open.
