Method of producing collectible cards
Methods and apparatus of producing collectible cards are disclosed. An example method includes producing a first stack of cards including a first card type and a second card type from a single substrate sheet, separating the first stack of cards into a first sub-stack and a second sub-stack. The first sub-stack includes the first card type and the second sub-stack includes the second card type. The example method includes comparing a first top card of the first sub-stack to a first reference card and, based on the first top card being substantially similar to the first reference card, automatically transferring the first sub-stack to a first tray designated to receive the first card type.

Device and method for producing packages of stacked materials
The device for producing packages of stacked materials consisting of a plurality of individual signatures comprises a first conveying unit, which defines a signature path. The first conveying unit moves the signatures along the signature path into a vertical position. The device also comprises a stacking table with a support surface for supporting the signatures, which are arriving with a vertical orientation. The stacking table comprises a second conveying unit, which moves the stacked signatures in a conveying direction of the stack. A control unit switches a tilting device between an active state, in which the tilting device tilts or compresses an upper area of the stacked signatures, and an inactive state, in which the tilting device exerts no effect on the stacked signatures.

Method and device for forming product stacks of folded or unfolded product blanks made of paper, chemical pulp or the like
In a method for forming product stacks of folded or unfolded product blanks made of paper or chemical pulp, product blanks are supplied consecutively to a stacking surface and placed in an upright position. A separating element is inserted between two consecutive product blanks as the product blanks are moved against a channel wall of a discharge channel for temporary support of a rear side of the product blanks, to thereby form a first product stack with a predetermined number of product blanks between the separating element and the channel wall. The channel wall is opened to thereby allow the first product stack to be transferred to the discharge channel, and a sliding element is inserted between the product stack and a subsequent second product stack, as the first product stack is moved to the discharge channel.

PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure aims to provide a technique for making it easy to clear a jam in a printing apparatus having a stacking unit configured to sort a printing medium in a direction orthogonal to a printing medium conveyance direction. One embodiment of the present disclosure is a printing apparatus having a casing, a conveyance unit housed in the casing and configured to convey a printing medium, and a stacking unit which is attached to the casing and on which a printing medium conveyed by the conveyance unit is be stacked. The stacking unit has a first stacking part movable in a second direction intersecting with a first direction in which a printing medium is conveyed and a second stacking part movable in the first direction relative to the first stacking part, and the stacking unit is detachable from the casing by moving in the first direction.
