According to one embodiment, a paper sheet processing system includes a paper sheet processing apparatus which includes an inspection device, a reject device, and a first communication module, and a robot device which includes a robot arm and a second communication module. The reject device rejects a rejected paper sheet and a batch card to a rejecting port. When the batch card is detected, the first communication module transmits a predetermined signal to the robot device. Upon receiving the predetermined signal, the robot device takes the rejected paper sheet and the batch card out of the rejecting port by the robot arm, moves them to another storage section, and transmits a move completion signal to the paper sheet processing apparatus.

According to one embodiment, a paper sheet processing system includes a paper sheet processing apparatus which includes an inspection device, a reject device, and a first communication module, and a robot device which includes a robot arm and a second communication module. The reject device rejects a rejected paper sheet and a batch card to a rejecting port. When the batch card is detected, the first communication module transmits a predetermined signal to the robot device. A stacking apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a stacking unit, and a separation member supply unit. The conveyance unit conveys sheets for circuit board. The stacking unit stacks the sheets. The separation member supply unit supplies a separation member to separate the stacked sheets at any position. The separation member supply unit places the separation member on the sheet in being conveyed.

A stacking apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a stacking unit, and a separation member supply unit. The conveyance unit conveys sheets for circuit board. The stacking unit stacks the sheets. The separation member supply unit supplies a separation member to separate the stacked sheets at any position. The separation member supply unit places the separation member on the sheet in being conveyed.

The book binding device includes a section for forming a cut in the end side of a conveyed sheet, a control section for controlling the section for forming a cut, and a selection section for selecting each sheet for the presence/absence of a cut to be formed by the section for forming a cut, wherein the control section controls the formation of a cut by the section for forming a cut based on the presence/absence of the formation of a cut selected by the selection section, and then the mixture of sheets in which cuts are formed and sheets in which cuts are not formed are bundled and bound to complete a booklet.

A multifunctional printer comprising a printer section, an auto-document feeder, a scanner section, and a finisher, wherein a finisher path leads from the auto-document feeder into the printer section and converges with a print path into a shared finisher path leading to the finisher, such that documents scanned with the auto-document feeder can be conveyed to the finisher such that it can perform a finishing operation on the documents.

A sheet conveyance apparatus which conveys sheets fed from a first sheet feeding unit and sheets fed from a second sheet feeding unit to a merging point, inserts the sheets fed from the first sheet feeding unit into the sheets fed from the second sheet feeding unit in a predetermined order at the merging point, and discharges the sheets fed from the first sheet feeding unit and the sheets fed from the second sheet feeding unit to a downstream side includes: a jam detecting unit configured to detect a jam of a sheet in the first sheet feeding unit; and a control unit configured to newly feed sheets which are before the predetermined order, in which a sheet causing the jam is supposed to be inserted, and have not been fed from the second sheet feeding unit, and convey the newly fed sheets to the downstream side.

A medium processing apparatus includes a first medium support portion that supports a printing medium bundle consisting of printed media on which printing has been performed and an insertion medium inserted between the printed media, a second medium support portion that supports an insertion medium bundle including plural insertion media, and a supply unit that supplies a corresponding insertion medium from the insertion medium bundle to a place where the insertion medium is missing in the printing medium bundle and does not supply an insertion medium corresponding to the insertion medium included in the printing medium bundle among the insertion media included in the insertion medium bundle to the printing medium bundle.

A conveyance control unit makes the medium be conveyed from the manual paper feeding unit to the aligning unit after the body text paper sheets that include a page specified by a print job are stored in the aligning unit and before the body text paper sheet conveyed from the printer immediately afterwards is stored in the aligning unit.
