Bulk textured material sheeting
A material including a metal sheet, a first plurality of raised and pointed structures, and a second plurality of raised and pointed structures is provided. The metal sheet includes first and second opposed sides, and a thickness between the first and second opposed sides. The first plurality of raised and pointed structures are gouged out of the first side of the metal sheet. The sheet is not perforated, and the raised and pointed structures of the first plurality have a height of between 150% and 300% of the thickness. The second plurality of raised and pointed structures are gouged out of the second side of the metal sheet.
Paper conveyance device, and printer
A paper compartment in which roll paper can be held has an opening positioned along the second axial end of the roll paper and a wall positioned along the first axial end of the roll paper in the axial direction. The paper loading member can be removably installed in the paper compartment through the opening. The paper loading member has a flange and a roll support member that projects from the flange and is inserted into the paper. When roll paper is held in the paper compartment, the paper loading member is installed in the paper compartment with a first side of the flange contacting the first axial end of the paper, and the roll support member is inserted into the roll paper. When the paper loading member is installed in the paper compartment, the first side of the flange faces the opening.
BRAKE ASSEMBLY FOR A TAPE DISPENSER
A tape dispenser housing wound adhesive tape includes a brake spoke tapering (i.e., narrowing) from a distal radial end to a proximal radial end relative to a tape rotational axis, wherein the brake spoke effectuates the braking of wound adhesive tape on a hub by contacting the wound adhesive tape, the hub, or both simultaneously.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system incorporating the sheet processing apparatus
A sheet processing apparatus includes a sheet conveyor, a processing tool, a tool contact separation device, a tool moving device, and a tool facing device. The sheet conveyor is configured to convey a sheet. The processing tool is configured to perform processing to the sheet. The tool contact separation device is configured to contact and separate the processing tool with respect to the sheet. The tool moving device is configured to move the processing tool in a direction intersecting a conveyance direction of the sheet. The tool facing device includes a tool facing portion and a sheet gripper. The tool facing portion includes a rotary member supported by a shaft and is disposed at a position facing the processing tool via the sheet. The sheet gripper includes a rotary member supported by a shaft and is configured to grip the sheet with the tool facing portion.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY APPLYING WEIGHT MATERIAL TO A WHEEL
An apparatus for applying weight material onto a wheel may include a conveyor assembly, upper and lower severing-head assemblies, and upper and lower control arms. The severing-head assemblies may be mounted above and below the conveyor assembly and may include a housing, a severing device and a dispensing mechanism. The dispensing mechanism may position the weight material from a source relative to the severing device. The severing device may separate a predetermined amount of weight material from a source. The control arms may be movably mounted above and below the conveyor assembly and have weight-application tools configured to transfer the predetermined amounts of weight material from the severing-head assemblies to locations on the wheel.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING EXPOSURE SAMPLES, DISCHARGE STATION AND MACHINE FOR PROCESSING SHEET-SHAPED ELEMENTS
The invention relates to an inspection device (6) for inspecting sample blanks (P) for a processing machine (1) for processing elements in sheet form, the processing machine (1) comprising a plurality of work stations (300, 400, 500, 600) including at least one waste removal station (600) comprising a removal belt (93; 94), the inspection device (6) being characterized in that it comprises an optical monitoring device (7) configured to determine a fault with the quality of a sample of blanks (P) laid flat on the removal belt (93; 94).
The present invention also relates to a waste removal station, a processing machine for processing elements in sheet form, and to a method for the quality control of sample blanks.

Conveying apparatus and method for conveying a tire layer
Disclosed is a conveying apparatus and method for conveying a tire layer, wherein the conveying apparatus includes a swivel conveyor with at least one endless belt or wire, a first pulley, a second pulley and a third pulley that define a minimal loop (L) for guiding the endless belt or wire along a conveying run and a return run, wherein the third pulley is arranged between the conveying run and the return run, and is swivable about a swivel axis (X) between a first swivel position and a second swivel position. The pivot position is chosen such that the length of the minimal loop when the third pulley is in the first swivel position is the same within a tolerance of less than 1 percent with respect to the length of the minimal loop when the third pulley is in the second swivel position.
