DISPOSABLE DENTAL VALVE DEVICE
A disposable dental valve device is disclosed having a valve body having an interior, a tip receiving end having a tapered interior for receiving a tip, a hose receiving end, a lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, and a partial opening formed in the valve body and a rotatable valve sealing body adapted to being inserted into the partial opening, the rotatable valve sealing body having a bore for alignment with the lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, the rotatable valve sealing body having a top and a handle portion connected to the top.
DISPOSABLE DENTAL VALVE DEVICE HAVING A CHECK VALVE
A disposable dental valve device is disclosed having a valve body having a tip receiving end, a hose receiving end, a lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, a partial opening formed in the valve body, and a rotatable valve sealing body adapted to being inserted into the partial opening, the rotatable valve sealing body having a bore for alignment with the lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, the bore having a tip receiving opening and a hose receiving opening, the rotatable valve sealing body having a check valve positioned on the tip receiving opening, and the rotatable valve sealing body having a top and a handle portion connected to the top.
DISPOSABLE DENTAL VALVE DEVICE HAVING A CHECK VALVE
A dental valve device is disclosed having a valve body having a tip receiving end, a hose receiving end, a lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, a partial opening formed in the valve body, and a rotatable valve sealing body adapted to being inserted into the partial opening, the rotatable valve sealing body having a bottom having an opening, a bore for alignment with the lumen formed between the tip receiving end and the hose receiving end, the bore having a tip receiving opening and a hose receiving opening, the rotatable valve sealing body having a check valve positioned in the bore and the opening in the bottom.
Dental device with dual saliva extraction and dual retractor
A dental device with dual saliva extractors and dual retractors for the tongue and upper lip and method are connectable to a suction and disposal unit. The device includes a pair of extractors each of which includes a suction tip and a tubular member for connecting the tip to the sources of suction. A first of the tubular members is put into a patient's mouth with a first curved portion inserted in a lower portion of the patient's mouth over the tongue and behind the front teeth and a second curved portion separate from said first portion branched off from where the first portion crosses the lower teeth and is inserted between the upper lip and upper molars under the region of the Stenson's duct.
SALIVA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH CONTINUOUS FLOW THROUGH ORAL DEVICE
Systems for maintaining a vacuum in a patient's oral cavity comprises an oral device, a vacuum control system, and an assembly including first and second tubes for connecting the vacuum control system to the oral device. The oral device has an internal plenum, and a vacuum is drawn in the plenum by a vacuum pump connected by a first tube of the tubular assembly. The vacuum is maintained by an air source which is connected to the plenum by the second tube of the tubular assembly. By maintaining a constant circulating air bleed through the oral device and the connecting tubes, saliva may be removed from the system and collected in a saliva trap located before the vacuum pump.
HANDS-FREE DENTAL SUCTION ASSEMBLY
A hands-free dental suction assembly having a pad made of an foam material. A pair of slits in spaced parallel relation are cut through an interior portion of the pad. A suction tip is threaded through the slits to connect the suction tip to the pad.
Suction tool
A suction tool for connection to a dental suction system can include an elongate body, a tip portion, and a screen mechanism positioned within the elongate body. The tip portion can extend over at least a portion of the elongate body. The tip portion can include an upper portion and a lower portion integrally formed with the upper portion and at least partially spaced apart from the upper portion by a recessed portion.
Vacuum light apparatus
A vacuum light apparatus is configured with a light source that illuminates a light pipe forming a light pipe conduit configured to draw vacuum therethrough. The vacuum light apparatus has a light switch to turn the light source on and off, dim up and down and a vacuum actuator to adjust the amount of vacuum on the projection end of the light pipe. The light source may receive power from a battery, or from a power cable. The power cable may be detachably attached to the vacuum light apparatus, such as to the body. An exemplary vacuum light apparatus may be used for dental applications to provide illumination in an oral cavity or mouth while providing suction to draw away saliva, other fluids and particles from the procedure.
ORAL SUCTION DEVICE
To allow a vacuum tip and a vacuum hose to be attached to and detached from each other in a physical manner in a case of installing a light source on the vacuum tip side, it is configured that electrical connection between the vacuum tip and the vacuum hose is established in association with the attachment and detachment. An oral suction device including a vacuum hose connected to a suction source and a vacuum tip having a tube body that has a proximal end connectable to a distal end of the vacuum hose and a distal end as a suction port, includes a light source provided in the vacuum tip to illuminate inside of an oral cavity, a hose-side electrode, provided at the distal end of the vacuum hose, for supplying power from a power supply to the light source, and a tip-side electrode, provided at the proximal end of the vacuum tip and electrically connected to the light source, for receiving the power from the hose-side electrode.
