Hands-Free Suction Apparatus
An apparatus for suctioning matter expelled during treatments involving an orifice of a patient; the apparatus includes a suction head, a conduit attached to the suction head and a suction device for attaching the conduit thereto, thereby putting the suction head in communication with the suction device. The conduit includes a flexible and bendable body that is easily manipulated into different positions and supports the suction head about the orifice of the patient during treatment. Preferably, the orifice is a mouth, and the treatment is a dental treatment. In this embodiment, the apparatus provides for the hands-free suction of aerosols and/or saliva and blood splatter produced from the mouth of the patient during the dental treatment.
Dental Aerosol Protection System
A dental aerosol protection system for controlling dispersion of aerosol and splatter particles produced during dental procedures, the system including a ring assembly, a support mask for supporting the ring assembly on a patient, and a suction generating device, the ring assembly and support mask having suction ports which are connectable to the suction generating device to provide a negative suction force around the oral cavity, wherein the ring assembly and support mask can be connected or used separately to control dispersion of aerosols depending upon the requirements of the dental procedure, and one or more flexible extensions connectable to the ring assembly and support mask extending superiorly away from the patient around and over the oral cavity, the flexible extensions forming an adjustable physical barrier between the dental professional and the patient's oral cavity.
SUCTION APPARATUS AND SALIVA EJECTOR
The present invention provides an apparatus adapted for ejection of material, e.g., saliva, from the mouth of a patient during a dental procedure. The apparatus has at least two distal openings such that material may be ejected simultaneously from at least two locations within the patient's mouth. The invention provides a suction apparatus having a proximal tube, which may couple with a standard waste container apparatus having a suction source.
CONNECTION ADAPTOR FOR USE WITH DENTAL TOOLS
A connection adaptor device for dental tools that provides an ergonomic operation of dental tools. The connection adaptor device includes a connector body with a first end and a second end. A tool receiver port is located at the first end. The tool receiver port is configured to be releasably attachable to dental tools. A hose receiver port is located at the second end. The hose receiver port is configured to be releasably attachable to a suction hose. An airflow passageway connects the tool receiver port to the hose receiver port. The airflow passageway having a bend at acute angle.
MIRROR APPARATUS FOR DENTAL EVACUATOR
A removably attachable mirror apparatus is adapted to be attachable to a suctioning tool of a dental evacuation system for removal of aerosols during a dental procedure. The mirror apparatus includes a closed-loop collar having a mirror post retaining portion adapted to retain a dental mirror. The stem is typically bent at an end in proximity to the mirror to allow for better viewing of a patient's mouth. The collar is sized to create an interference fit over the suctioning tool but is removable after use. The collar may be made of a metal, resin, plastic or silicone. The collar may be 3-D printed. The mirror apparatus may be made to be autoclavable between uses. Alternatively, the collar may be made to be disposable after a single use. The mirror apparatus provides advantages of easy use, low cost and improved remediation of potentially dangerous aerosols generated during common dental procedures.
SUCTION AID EQUIPMENT
A suction aid equipment is proposed. The suction aid equipment includes a gripper configured to hold a suction module to be inserted in an oral cavity of a patient, an adjuster coupled to the gripper and configured to adjust a position of the suction module in the oral cavity of the patient, and a support configured to support the gripper and the adjuster from the ground. By this suction aid equipment, the dentist may perform dental treatment alone in a state in which the suction module is precisely fixed at a required position without the help of a nursing assistant.

SAFETY SUCTION MASK AND METHOD OF USE
A mask comprising a shield forming a perimeter, one or more portal penetrations through the shield, one or more suction inlets coupled to the shield, one or more ear loops coupled to the shield and a manifold coupled to the suction inlets and configured to distribute suction force.
Suction mirror having a central wall
A dental suction mirror for suctioning liquids and particles from an oral cavity of a patient includes a tubular hollow main body having an inner surface, an outer surface, a longitudinal axis, and a connection opening for a tube and a suction opening. The inner surface has a mirrored surface that can be observed through the suction opening, with the mirrored surface being arranged in such a manner that the oral cavity can be observed at least in some regions via said mirrored surface. The hollow base body has a central wall along its longitudinal axis, which divides the hollow space at least in some regions into a first hollow channel and a second hollow channel.
Suction device
The invention relates to a suction device for intraoral use, comprising a suction line and a tongue protection, said suction line being bent substantially U-shaped, which are configured by a molded part, in particular integrally with one another. The suction tube comprises a connection which points mesially for a suction hose. In the course of the suction tube the connection is adjoined by an upper U-leg, a mesial U-central portion and a lower U-leg, said legs extending distally from the U-central portion. The lower U-leg comprises suction openings and is surrounded by a suction sponge which covers the suction openings. The suction tube terminates at the distal end of the lower U-leg in an end suction opening which is covered by the suction sponge.
