Blade mechanism for a plant material trimming device
A plant material trimming device includes two end walls supporting a rotatable perforated tumbler, a rotatable reel with helical blades, and a blade mechanism pivotably connected to the end walls of the device. The blade mechanism includes: (i) a blade bar configured to cut plant material in cooperation with the helical blades when the device is in operation; (ii) a first arm operatively associated with the blade bar; and (iii) a second arm pivotably connected to the first arm such that the second arm can pivot downward when the blade mechanism is unlocked. A tightening block may be threadedly connected to the second arm and connectable to one of the two end walls. The tightening block may be configured for adjusting the pitch of the blade bar relative to the helical blades when the blade mechanism is locked to the end walls.
Brush chipper assembly with counter-rotating feeder rollers and chipping heads
A brush chipper assembly has a housing and a feeder subassembly connected to the housing. The feeder subassembly includes opposed, first and second feeder rollers. When the feeder subassembly is actuated, the first feeder roller is operable to rotate in a first direction and the second feeder roller is operable to rotate in a second direction (opposite to the first direction) so as to draw the brush into the housing. Also provided is, a chipping subassembly substantially contained within the housing behind the feeder subassembly. The chipping subassembly including first and second, opposed chipping heads, each of which carrying cutting teeth for chipping the brush. When the chipping subassembly is actuated, the first chipping head is operable to rotate in a third direction (opposite to the first direction) and the second chipping head is operable to rotate in a fourth direction (opposite to the second direction).
Mulching Assembly
A mulching assembly includes a vacuum that may be positioned to facilitate the vacuum to suck debris from a support surface. A handle is coupled to the vacuum such that the handle may be gripped. A mulcher is coupled to the vacuum and the mulcher mulches the debris. A canister is provided that may be positioned on the support surface. The canister is fluidly coupled to the vacuum such that the canister may receive the mulched debris from the vacuum.
SYSTEM FOR A MULCHER
A system for a mulcher is provided. The system includes a rotor rotating about a rotation axis in an operating direction and having a substantially cylindrical outer surface, a plurality of tools, and connecting means for connecting the tools to the rotor. Each tool comprises a first blade arranged in a front upper portion of the tool and having a cutting edge extending substantially parallel to the rotation axis of the rotor and directed towards the operating direction. Each tool further comprises a second blade arranged in a front lower portion of the tool and comprising two faces angled to each other which join to form a second cutting edge. The second cutting edge extends transversely with respect to the outer surface of the rotor and is positioned centrally with respect to the first cutting edge of the first blade.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR A TOWED DEVICE POWERED BY A TOW VEHICLE
An apparatus and a system directed to a towed device powered by a tow vehicle. The apparatus and system include a woodchipper configured to be mounted on a towed vehicle, with the towed vehicle configured to be towed behind the tow vehicle. Additionally, a motor may be coupled to the woodchipper to provide power to the woodchipper. A power converter obtains power from the tow vehicle from a power takeoff coupled to the tow vehicle. Further, one or more power transfer lines connect the power converter with the motor to communicate motor-operating power from the power converter to the motor.
Flywheel and paddle assembly for a chipping or shredding apparatus, and an apparatus incorporating same
A flywheel and paddle assembly for a chipping or shredding apparatus, including a wood chipper, a brush chipper, and a leaf shredder. The assembly has a flywheel attached coaxially to a drive shaft. The flywheel has at least one aperture extending from the front side to the back side, and carries at least one knife adjacent to the at least one aperture. The knife presents a knife edge on the front side of the flywheel. A paddle is rotatably mounted coaxially to the drive shaft adjacent to the back side of the flywheel. The paddle is configured to rotate on the drive shaft independently of the flywheel. A chipping or shredding apparatus incorporating the aforesaid flywheel and paddle assembly is also disclosed.
Control system for normally-on power tool
Disclosed in the present invention is a control system for a normally-on power tool. The power tool comprises a tool head and a power device for providing the tool head with power, and the control system comprises an acquisition circuit and a control circuit. The acquisition circuit is in electrical communication with the power device and used to acquire at least one parameter associated with the power device, and the control circuit is configured to put the power device in a working mode with a first output power or a standby mode with a second output power according to the at least one parameter. The control system according to one or more embodiments of the present invention can save energy consumption, reduce mechanical wear, increase the service life of the power tool, and enhance operation convenience and safety.
FORESTRY MULCHING ROTARY CUTTING DEVICE
A mulcher head comprises a frame and a culling drum rotationally connected to the frame. The cutting drum comprises a plurality of tool holders each configured to receive one of a plurality of culler or culling tools with at least one edge for shredding the material, and a bite limiter assembly operatively coupled to the outer surface of the tubular body. The bite limiter assembly comprises at least one guide plate coupled to the tubular body at an angle to a rotational axis of the culling drum. The bite limiter assembly is configured to restrict engagement of each of the plurality of cutting tools with the material. A culling drum is also provided. The tool holders may comprise a recess and a wedge, the culling tools being removably coupled to a corresponding tool holder with an interference fit between each of the culling tools and the wedge.
