A printing device includes a sheet placement plate, an ejection roller module and an ejection control module. The ejection roller module is located near the sheet placement plate to eject at least one paper sheet. The ejection control module is connected with the ejection roller module. The ejection roller module is selectively in a released state or an ejection state under control of the ejection control module. When the ejection roller module is in the released state, the at least one paper sheet is transferred to the sheet placement plate through the ejection roller module. The ejection roller module is in the ejection state, the at least one paper sheet is outputted by the ejection roller module.

A printing device includes a sheet placement plate, an ejection roller module and an ejection control module. The ejection roller module is located near the sheet placement plate to eject at least one paper sheet. The ejection control module is connected with the ejection roller module. When the ejection roller module is in the released state, the at least one paper sheet is transferred to the sheet placement plate through the ejection roller module. A medium ejection apparatus includes an ejection roller pair configured to eject a medium, a driving device configured to rotate at least one roller of the ejection roller pair, a processor for detecting a size of the medium, and controlling the driving device to increase a rotation speed of the at least one roller to be higher than a previous rotation speed, from a predetermined timing after a rear edge of the medium passes through a nip position of the ejection roller pair. The processor changes the predetermined timing in accordance with the size of the medium.

A sheet handling apparatus includes a transport path that includes a first path, a second path, and a curved portion connecting the first path and the second path, the transport path circularly transports a sheet along the transport path in a forward direction or a backward direction. The sheet handling apparatus further includes a rolling body that is disposed at the curved portion and rotates clockwise and counterclockwise, and a plurality of rollers that are opposed to the rolling body and sandwich the sheet between each of the plurality of rollers and the rolling body along the curved portion of the transport path. The rolling body transports the sheet in the forward direction by rotating clockwise and transports the sheet in the backward direction by rotating counterclockwise.

A paper conveying device, used in a paper processing device to perform predetermined processing on paper, includes a conveying portion, a holding portion, a detection portion, and a control portion. The holding portion is disposed downstream of the processing portion in the conveying direction and holds the paper processed by the paper processing device. The detection portion detects a change of an orientation of the paper held by the holding portion. The control portion releases the paper held by the holding portion in a case where an amount of the detected orientation change reaches a predetermined amount.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus comprises a plurality of sheet detection units, provided at different positions along a sheet width direction, configured to detect the sheet conveyed on a conveyance path. A controller determines, by using the plurality of sheet detection units, a presence or absence of a sheet being conveyed in each of a plurality of regions sectioned in the sheet width direction, and determines, based on input image data, a presence or absence of an image to be formed in each of the plurality of regions. The controller further determines, based on the above determination results, whether or not the image to be formed on the sheet being conveyed is to be formed with a deviation from the sheet, and controls an image forming operation in accordance with this determination result.
