PAPER PROCESSING DEVICE
A paper processing device includes a casing, a transfer roller assembly and a paper pressing mechanism. The casing includes a paper placement platform. The plural papers from a printing device are transferred to the paper placement platform by the transfer roller assembly. The paper pressing mechanism is located under the casing. The paper pressing mechanism includes a support frame, a pressing bar, a driving mechanism and a linking mechanism. The pressing bar includes a protrusion block. The protrusion block is penetrated through an opening of the casing. The protrusion block and the paper placement platform face each other. The linking mechanism is connected between the driving mechanism and the pressing bar. While the linking mechanism is driven by the driving mechanism, the pressing bar is moved linearly relative to the support frame, and the protrusion block is moved from an initial position to a target position.
Sheet stacking device, post processing apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet stacking device includes a housing, a discharge tray, a lifting mechanism, a first upper surface detection part, a second upper surface detection part and a control part. The housing has a discharge port. On the discharge tray, the sheet discharged from the discharge port in a predetermined discharge direction is stacked. The lifting mechanism supports the discharge tray. The first upper surface detection part detects a first detected surface of the sheet on the discharge tray. The second upper surface detection part detects a second detected surface of the sheet on the discharge tray on a downstream side of the first detected surface in the sheet discharge direction. The control part controls the lifting mechanism based on a detection result of the first upper surface detection part and a detection result of the second upper surface detection part, and adjusts the discharge tray at a predetermined height.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT OF REMOTE MODIFICATION OF CARDS
The disclosure relates to devices, systems, methods and computer readable media for providing network management of remote card handling, and physical manipulation. More particularly, the disclosure is directed to networked devices, systems, methods and computer program methods for remotely, physically modifying a card while leaving a physical record of the modified card for inspection and validation and delivering the manipulation results to a user, and/or other third parties, for example, scratch lottery cards and ballot cards.

SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE
A sheet processing machine (10) with a jam detection device (44, 46), the jam detection device (44, 46) comprising a light emitting element and a light receiving element forming a light barrier in a detection zone (53, 78) of a processing station of the sheet processing machine (10). The jam detection device (44, 46) further comprises a control unit (48) being connected to the light receiving element and being adapted to register if the light barrier is interrupted.
Cash box and banknote processing device using same
Disclosed are a cash box and a banknote processing device using the same. The cash box includes: a guiding plate, configured to guide a banknote to enter a banknote storage chamber; a pickup roller, configured to output the banknote; and a sensor, configured to detect a position of the guiding plate and a position of the pickup roller. When the guiding plate is in a banknote feeding position or the pickup roller is in a banknote pickup position, the sensor outputs a first signal. When the guiding plate deviates from the banknote feeding position and the pickup roller deviates from the banknote pickup position, the sensor outputs a second signal, wherein the first signal is different from the second signal.
LIGHT SOURCES FOR PRINTING DEVICES
An example printing device may comprise a first sensor to detect when a media pathway is blocked, where the first sensor may send a first signal to a light source to display a first brightness when the media pathway is blocked, and a second sensor to detect when a supply area door is in an open position, where the second sensor is to send a second signal to the light source to display a second brightness when the supply area door is in an open position.
Method and apparatus for aligning sheet material
An apparatus and method for determining sheet material edges on a surface including a sensor configured to detect an outer edge and a usable edge of the sheet material and a controller in communication with the sensor. The sensor comprises a first color optical sensor producing a first signal representing a first physical attribute of the sheet material and a second color optical sensor producing a second signal representing a second physical attribute of the sheet material. The controller comprises a processor, a memory, and a communications adapter, controls dispensing and spreading of the sheet material for detection by the sensor, and signals to a user a presence of the usable edge in the sheet material upon detection by the sensor.
