Filter unit for suction systems of dental equipment
A filter unit for a conventional suction system of dental equipment is proposed. It consists of a disposable filter and a connecting module fixed to the suction system. The connecting module removably connects the disposable filter to the system, and includesan inlet pipe passing a water flow and solid contents from the system, an outlet pipe returning the water flow into the system, a hole communicating with the inlet pipe, a pipe projection communicating with the outlet pipe, andfixing slots. The filter includesa container collecting the solid contents, a cover including inlet and outlet holes and provided with fixing projections removably engaged with the fixing slots, anda lock-fixer rotatably mounted within the cover. It allows for removable connecting the filter to the system, which significantly improves convenience of servicing the system, safety and sanitary protection of dental personnel.
Dental amalgam separation and recycling system
The present invention provides dental amalgam recycling systems, useful for recycling particles from a dental liquid effluent drawn, for example, from a suctioning device.

Intra-oral appliance for field isolation and moisture control
An intra-oral simultaneous bilateral inter arch isolation appliance features a generally W-shaped body having first and second cheek retractor wings, and first and second transitions respectively joining the cheek retractor wings to a tongue crib of generally U-shaped configuration with an open posterior end. In a patient worn position, each cheek retractor wing runs buccally along a respective half of a patient's dental arches to retract and isolate buccal mucosa, while the transitions curve posteriorly around the rear molars between the maxillary tuberosity and retromolar pad to carry the tongue crib inside the dental arches, where it shields and isolates the tongue. Commissure cradles at anterior ends of the cheek retractor wings hook around the patient's oral commissures at terminal ends of the appliance. Inner passageways within the body accommodate fluid extraction and/or light transmission through the appliance.
METHODS, DEVICES, SYSTEMS, ASSEMBLIES, AND KITS FOR TISSUE RETRACTION IN AN ORAL CAVITY
Provided herein is a retraction device for retracting soft tissue from the dental surfaces in the oral cavity of a patient. The retraction device is comprised of a topology conformable structure, where the topology conformable structure is adaptable to be delivered to the oral cavity in a constrained shape. The device can then undergo a conformation change in the oral cavity, where the device transforms into its unconstrained shape. The unconstrained shape of the device creates a useable working field in the oral cavity. The useable working field can provide increased accessibility to and/or visibility within the oral cavity. Also provided herein are methods for using the device and kits.
Sample collection
Sample collection apparatus and methods of sample collection are provided, for example saliva collection apparatus and methods of saliva collection. Said apparatus conveniently comprises a filter assembly and an interface for delivering material from the apparatus to an assay unit.

TRANSPORTABLE AUTONOMOUS DENTAL UNIT
A transportable autonomous dental unit is described, mounted on a base to which side walls are associated in order to create a container of around 4 liters of volume, featuring a dental chair whose column has a compressed air tank, a complete instrument table, a compressor to fill the needs of the pneumatic peripherals and venturi suction device for compressed air, means for connection to a water supply line, a wastewater drainage duct, and a power source, offering the same operation conditions of a complete conventional dental unit.
