A reprocessing apparatus for washing and cleaning a load comprising a reprocessing chamber, a buffer tank, a buffer tank valve and recirculation valve, fluid distribution devices and plurality of pumps, at least one ultrasonic transducer and a drainage system characterised by said buffer tank is supplied with fresh water and process chemical where buffer tank holds fresh process fluid that is pumped to at least one fluid distribution device and directly into the load, the drainage system for discharging process fluids and recirculation loop for pumping said fluid back the reprocessing chamber, and a method of reprocessing a load in a reprocessing apparatus characterised by that fresh water is mixed with process chemicals externally to said chamber in the buffer tank and delivered to said chamber through fluid distribution devices and internal connecting lines while simultaneously washing the load internally and externally and discharging the fluid from the reprocessing chamber.
All-in-one cleaner
An all-in-one cleaner is disclosed. An all-in-one cleaner, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a cleaner body; a soaking unit which is provided on one side of the cleaner body and carries out a soaking step on a subject to be cleaned; a washing unit which is provided near the soaking unit and carries out a washing step on the subject to be cleaned, for which the soaking step has been completed; and a rinsing unit which is provided near the washing unit and carries out a rinsing step on the subject to be cleaned, for which the washing step has been completed.
Dental treatment and/or examination assembly, dental coupling unit, and method for flushing the liquid-conducting system of a dental treatment and/or examination assembly
The invention relates to a dental coupling unit (1), which can be detachably coupled to an instrument attachment (2) for dental treatment and/or examination at the front end (11) of the coupling unit and also can be connected to a supply unit (3) for providing supply media for the instrument attachment (2), wherein a media supply line (4) extends through the coupling unit (1) toward the instrument attachment (2) and wherein additionally a media return line (5) extends through the coupling unit (1), which media return line is connected to an end region of the media supply line (4) extending through the coupling unit (1), which end region faces the instrument attachment (2). The coupling unit (1) has a valve assembly (6), which conducts the liquid from the coupling unit (1) to the instrument attachment (2) when the instrument attachment (2) is attached and conducts the liquid to the media return line (5) and blocks the escape of the liquid at the front end (11) of the coupling unit (1) when the instrument attachment is not attached.
Ozone Generator for Flosser
An apparatus for performing dental hygiene includes a mechanism to sterilize a head portion based on an ozone generator integrated with a base of the apparatus. The ozone generator includes a corona discharge tube, a micro air pump to circulate air through the corona discharge tube, and a bubble diffuser to diffuse ozone in a fluid. The ozone diffused fluid is transferred to a space around the head portion to sterilize the head portion. The space around the head portion is created by a cap like device connected to the head portion in watertight manner. An ultrasonic mechanism is coupled to the cap like device as an additional sterilizing mechanism, and generates ultrasonic waves through the fluid held around the head portion for sterilizing the head portion.
Method and system for monitoring a medical or dental device
There is described a method and a system for monitoring a medical, in particular dental, device comprising at least two components, wherein at least one process parameter of the medical device which is sensitive to the functioning of the at least two components, is measured and stored for a plurality of operation cycles of the medical device and a maintenance requirement is recorded, when the process parameter reaches at least one preset and/or over a plurality of operation cycles calculated reference value, wherein a control unit assigns a maintenance requirement to one of the at least two components based on probabilistic evaluation of the recorded process parameters.
Dental cleaner discharge guard systems and methods
Rotating dental systems and related guards and methods are disclosed. In some instances a guard may be configured to prevent material from building up on at least a portion of the dental system. The guard may be configured to prevent materials from being discharged from the dental system. In some embodiments, the guard may also be configured to direct the flow of material along a portion of the dental system. Some guards within the scope of this disclosure comprise bristles.
