DEVICE FOR WEIGHING A FEED BOBBIN IN A WINDING MACHINE
A device for rewinding yarns from a feed bobbin onto a bobbin tube includes a controller, a machine frame, and a bobbin mandrel held in a rotationally fixed manner in the machine frame to receive the feed bobbin. A winding device includes a thread brake to set a yarn tension in the yarn rewound from the feed bobbin onto the bobbin tube. A holder for the bobbin mandrel includes a weighing system in communication with the controller, wherein an adjustment of the thread brake is provided by the controller based on a weighing of the feed bobbin.
Method of processing wire bundles
A method of reducing entanglement of wires includes receiving, at a tray, one or more first wires of a first wire group from a wire feed system of a wire processing machine. In addition, the method includes receiving, at the tray, one or more second wires of a second wire group from the wire feed system after receiving the first wire group at the tray. The method further includes physically separating, using a separator device associated with the tray, at least a portion of the first wire group from the second wire group. The method also includes moving the second wire group relative to the first wire group, reducing movement of at least a portion of the first wire group relative to a tray surface during movement of the second wire group relative to the first wire group.

Wire bundle processing method
A method of reducing entanglement of wires includes receiving from a wire feed system of a wire processing machine a first wire on a tray surface providing a wire-to-surface coefficient of friction between the tray surface and the first wire. In addition, the method includes receiving from the wire feed system a second wire at least partially on top of the first wire, the wire-to-surface coefficient of friction being higher than a wire-to-wire coefficient of friction between the first wire and the second wire. The method also includes moving the second wire relative to the first wire, and reducing movement of at least a portion of the first wire relative to the tray surface during movement of the second wire relative to the first wire due to the wire-to-surface coefficient of friction being higher than the wire-to-wire coefficient of friction.

Method for manufacturing wire saw apparatus and wire saw apparatus
A method for manufacturing a wire saw apparatus including a wire supply reel; a long roller; wire guides; a wire winding reel; and a tension arm controlled to move within a control angle of ±A (°) set in advance and configured to apply tension to the wire, the method including the steps of: measuring a surface roughness Rmax of the long roller; measuring an angle a (°) of the tension arm at which the tension arm swings outside a range of the control angle set in advance while the wire is extending from the wire supply reel; calculating R1×2×A÷(|a|+A)=R2, where R1 (μm) represents the measured surface roughness Rmax of the long roller; and adjusting the surface roughness Rmax of the long roller to the calculated numerical value R2 or less. The method for manufacturing a wire saw apparatus can prevent the tension arm from greatly swinging outside the control range.

Method and device for the optimal use of windable material during winding up and/or unwinding
A method and a device for optimal use of windable material during winding up onto and/or unwinding from storage drums operates in conjunction with feeding to winding machines. The windable material can be a textile web, a fabric web, a wire or the like. A counterforce necessary for keeping the tension force acting on the windable material constant is maintained until all of the windable material has been fed into subsequent processing. The counterforce may be maintained by a connecting element that is connected to the windable material and to the storage drum, is able to be wound up, and is of lower quality than the windable material. In the device, controllable means generate the counterforce counteracting the tension force until all of the windable material has been drawn into the subsequent processing device.
