Disclosed is an anatomical drape, such as a dental drape, for covering a treatment area of an anatomical part. The drape includes an elastomeric material capable of conforming to the contours of the anatomical part. The drape preferably includes a curing agent. Activation of the curing agent, for example by a light source, causes selective hardening of the stretched material to at least partially set the drape in a configuration conforming to the anatomical part. The semi-rigid set drape preferably is liquid impermeable but gas permeable. A method of manufacturing the drape is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a polymerization and post-tempering device (10) for tempering, in particular post-tempering, dental restoration parts (54) made of polymerizable plastics. At least one light source (38) which emits light in the visible and/or ultraviolet wavelength range and a light chamber with a door (14) to the light chamber are provided. The door (14) comprises a window (20) with a window pane (22) which consists of at least two layers (56, 58) whose layer facing the light chamber reflects at least 90%, in particular approximately 95%, of light, and whose layer facing away from the light chamber filters out UV light and/or blue light.

DENTAL DEVICES AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
20200261193 · 2020-08-20 ·

Dental devices and systems and methods for making dental devices are described herein. In some embodiments, denture base material may be adapted to fit a model of a patient's mouth, and a pre-set arch of denture teeth may be adjusted the model. The pre-set arch may be impressed into the denture base material to create a channel. In some embodiments, the cure may be a partial cure and/or a releasing agent may be used such that the pre-set arch may be removed, if needed for further adjustments, after assessing the fit of the denture device. If the fit is correct, another cure may be performed to finish the denture device. If the fit is incorrect, a new bite registration and/or adjustments to the denture base material and/or pre-set arch of denture teeth may be made.

DENTAL CURING LIGHT HAVING UNIBODY DESIGN THAT ACTS AS A HEAT SINK
20200253705 · 2020-08-13 ·

A dental curing light includes a device body that efficiently conducts heat away from the light emitting diode (LED) portion of the curing light. The device body is one-piece body formed from a continuous seamless piece of thermally conductive material extending between a proximal end and a distal end. The one-piece body includes a gripping handle portion extending to the proximal end and a light-emitting head portion extending to the distal end. The one-piece thermally conductive body acts as a heat sink to efficiently conduct heat away from the LED dies during use. The one-piece body eliminates problems of multi-segmented curing lights that include one or more joints between adjacent segments. Eliminating joints increases thermal conductivity of the body, eliminates crevices where microbes can grow, and eliminates the risk of accidental separation if the curing light is dropped.
