Sensing apparatus for yarn feeder

A sensing apparatus for yarn feeder may comprise a yarn feeder and a tension controller. The tension controller has an elongated sensing block installed therein, and a horizontal extending board is connected to the sensing block. An operating rod is mounted on a middle upper surface of the extending board at one end and upwardly sticks out of the tension controller to pivotally connect to a tension pulley at the other end. A yarn wound on a winding wheel of the yarn feeder is configured to couple with the tension pulley. At least an impedance sensing piece is attached on a surface of the sensing block, and a deformable hole horizontally penetrates through the sensing block. When the sensing block is pressed or pulled, the tension controller can obtain the tension value of the yarn and further calculate the torsion value of the yarn feeder.

A thread passing eye for inputting a thread is arranged below the body. A tension wheel and a thread passing wheel are rotatably arranged on the body. An adjusting knob is used for adjusting a rotational speed of the tension wheel. The elastic element has one end connected to the body and another end connected to the tension rod. The thread tension adjusting device may ensure stability of tensioning and transmitting of the thread by cooperation between the tension rod and the tension wheel, and improve precision for thread tension adjusting by the adjusting knob. In addition, the thread tension adjusting device may monitor thread breakage by the tension detector, and ensure operating stability and safety of the thread tension adjusting device.

A first indicator representing driving torque values is calculated, each variation of the first indicator representing a variation of the driving torque value to compensate for a deviation of the first data. A second indicator is calculating representing tension values applied to the thread supplied to the textile machine. Each variation of the second indicator representing a deviation of the second data. Based on the indicators, malfunctions in the unwinding and supply of thread are detected and signaled.
