Apparatus and methods for storing and mixing separate substances
A storage and mixing device includes a mixing compartment, two pistons that each extend from the mixing compartment and end in a displacement section, each piston defining a passageway having a first opening communicating with the mixing compartment and a second opening communicating with an inlet at the displacement section, and a housing having two piston guides and a cartridge compartment connected to the piston guide, each piston guide slidably receiving one of the pistons, and each cartridge compartment receiving a removable cartridge that includes a cavity for containing separate substances and an opening sealed by a cartridge seal. The displacement section of each piston includes a piercing member for piercing the cartridge seal of the cartridge arranged in the corresponding cartridge compartment, such that the displacement section enters the cartridge cavity and displaces the contained substance into the mixing compartment via the inlet and the passageway.
Single dose material and applicator package
A single dose material and applicator package that is easily held for removal of a cover and that contains an easily removable applicator. A tray has an applicator well and a material well. Formed in the applicator well is a finger depression adjacent the material well and an applicator support depression adjacent an opposing end of the applicator well. The finger depression permits easy grasping of the tray for removing the cover. The applicator support depression acts as a fulcrum to pivot or lever the applicator out of the tray when a force is applied to one end of the applicator. A material well ramp permits a controlled amount of material to be placed on the applicator brush.

IMPROVED DENTAL TRAY MOLDING KIT AND METHOD FOR DENTAL MOLDING
A dental tray molding kit for making a custom dental tray includes a generic tray, a thermoformable member removably insertable into the generic tray and a deformable spacer member placeable onto the thermoformable material and bitable by the user upon placement of the spacer member onto the thermoformable member in the user's mouth. The generic tray may be a rigid carrier tray and the kit may include a partially deformable member placed between the rigid carrier tray and the thermoformable member. A method for dental tray molding includes providing a generic tray, heating a thermoformable member until sufficiently pliable, placing the thermoformable member over the generic tray, placing a deformable spacer member over the thermoformable member, applying a biting force from a user onto the thermoformable member through the deformable spacer member, cooling the thermoformable member and separating the thermoformable member, whereby the thermoformable member forms a custom dental tray.
Kit of parts, method of producing and use thereof
The invention relates to a kit of parts comprising part A and part B, part A comprising a polymerizable component having an acid group in the molecule, an initiator, part B comprising an activator, and a film former with a molecular weight of at least 1000. The invention also relates to a composition obtainable by mixing the components contained in the kit of parts and to a process for producing the kit of parts comprising the steps of bringing the components contained in part B of the kit in contact with a surface, drying the surface to form a film.
Dental powder/liquid material-containing preparation accommodation bag and dispensing method for same
A dental powder/liquid material-containing preparation accommodation bag, which suppresses entrainment of air in mixing a powder material and a liquid material for dispensing, is provided. A powder material 8 is accommodated in a powder material accommodation chamber 3 of a bag body 2, while a liquid material 9 dissolving the powder material 8 and changing into a pasty form, in cooperation with the powder material 8 is accommodated in a liquid material accommodation chamber 4 partitioned from the powder material accommodation chamber 3 by a weakened section 7. The weakened section 7 is ruptured by applying a pressing force to the bag body 2. As a result, the powder material accommodation chamber 3 and the liquid material accommodation chamber 4 communicate, to feed the liquid material accommodated in the liquid material accommodation chamber 4 into the powder material accommodation chamber 3. Then, the powder material 8 and the liquid material 9 changing into the pasty form are pressed within the powder material accommodation chamber 3 from the surfaces of the bag body 2 for dispensing.
Medical Glove with an Area Suitable for Mixing Substances
A medical glove was designed to improve efficiency of operators in a variety of professions by combining the need for a mixing pad and/or dappan dish with a personal protective glove. The medical glove enables an operator to safely and ergonomically mix a variety of substances on their personal protective glove. The goal of the device is to increase procedural efficiency, increase working ergonomics, and increase protective safety of operators compared to current available products without decrease of overall glove tactile ability or comfort. The device provides an improved method compared to existing methods for ergonomic and safe placement and mixing of agents prior to placement in the working field.

The disclosure includes a container for dental prophylaxis paste comprising a top surface, an open elongated recessed interior portion located below the top surface, wherein the open elongated recessed interior portion is arranged and configured to receive and retain an amount of dental prophylaxis paste, a bottom surface facing opposite the top surface, and an adhesive coupled to the bottom surface, wherein the adhesive is configured to couple the container to a work surface. In some embodiments, the open elongated recessed interior portion is sized and configured to receive a prophylaxis angle to enable transfer of the dental prophylaxis paste to the prophylaxis angle. The open elongated recessed interior portion may define a substantially rectangular shape.
