DOFFING APPARATUS AND AUTOMATICALLY GUIDED VEHICLE COMPRISING THE SAME
A doffing apparatus can be configured to couple to an automatically guided vehicle (AGV). The doffing apparatus can comprise at least one elongate arm, each elongate arm having a proximal end, a distal end, and a length, and at least one driver, each driver being configured to move along a respective elongate arm to move a bobbin toward the distal end of the elongate arm. The doffing apparatus can further comprise at least one alignment device. The doffing apparatus can further comprise a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: receive feedback from the at least one alignment device, provide a control signal to cause the AGV to align the elongate arm with a receptacle at a loader, and move the driver a select distance along the length of the elongate arm.
Multispool Cabinet for Winding a Filament Onto a Transport Spool and Buffer Spool for Same
The subject matter of the invention is a manual multispool cabinet for winding a number of filaments (40, 40a) onto a respective removable transport spool (14, 14a) having a driven main winding shaft (10, 10a) per transport spool (14, 14a), wherein the main winding shaft (10, 10a) is formed for an exactly fitting reception of the transport spool (14, 14a, 214), and wherein the main winding shaft (10, 10a) drives the transport spool (14, 14a). Providing such a manual multispool cabinet that has such an increased filament speed is achieved in that, in addition to the transport spool (14, 14a), a buffer spool (12, 12a) is held on the main winding shaft (10, 10a).
Method for operating a workstation of a spinning machine or winding machine
A method at a workstation of a spinning machine or winding machine supplies an auxiliary thread from a thread nozzle to a suction assigned to the workstation, the auxiliary thread stretched between the thread nozzle and the suction. The auxiliary thread is severed to form a thread section protruding into the suction and a thread section extending into the thread nozzle, wherein the thread section protruding into the suction is carried away by the suction. The thread section extending into the thread nozzle is grasped with a thread receiver such that the thread section extending into the thread nozzle extends between the thread nozzle and the thread receiver. The thread section extending into the thread nozzle is severed to form a thread section remaining in the thread nozzle and a thread section coming from the thread receiver. The thread section coming from the thread receiver is transferred to the suction of the workstation. The thread section coming from the thread receiver is grasped with a capture arrangement adjacent a tube at the workstation prior to starting a process of winding the thread section coming from the thread receiver onto the tube.

Device for extruding, stretching, and winding a group of film strips
Techniques involve extruding, orienting and winding up a skein of film tapes or monofilaments. In particular, an apparatus has an extrusion installation, a plurality of drawing-off rollers and orienting rollers and a multiplicity of winding positions which are held alongside one another and one above another on an operating side of a frame wall. The winding positions are configured such that the wound packages are kept ready for removal at the frame wall on a doffing side on the opposite side from the operating side. Such an apparatus is able to achieve a material flow that is as continuous as possible during the production of the film strips and monofilaments.
Method for operating a textile machine, and textile machine for producing roving
During normal operation of a textile machine, a fiber bundle is supplied to a consolidating means to produce a roving having a protective twist, the roving wound onto a tube with a winding device. The roving downstream of the consolidating means is monitored for whether the roving is being produced by the consolidating means or whether the roving produced by the consolidating means is being wound onto the tube. In no roving is being produced or the roving produced by the consolidating means is not being wound onto the tube, an interruption of the normal operation of the textile machine is initiated and the tube partly loaded with roving by the winding device prior to the interruption is replaced with an empty tube during a tube changing process. The consolidating means is started up and the roving produced thereby is brought into contact with the empty tube. Normal operation is resumed and the roving is wound onto the empty tube.

Textile machine producing cross-wound packages and method for operating a textile machine producing cross-wound packages
A textile machine producing cross-wound packages with a plurality of identical workstations which are arranged in the area of the longitudinal sides of the textile machine and each of which has a winding device, and equipped with a tube supply device which includes a central tube magazine and at least one tube conveyor belt installed in the area of the longitudinal sides of the machine, in which case a cross-wound package can be removed, if necessary, from the winding device of the relevant workstation on the textile machine producing cross-wound packages and can be transferred to a cross-wound package transport device running the length of the machine, and an empty tube provided on the tube conveyor belt of the tube supply device can be inserted by means of a tube gripper into the winding device of the relevant workstation. The tube supply device is designed in such a way that the tube conveyor belt can be used as a tube accumulator for empty tubes during the operation of the textile machine producing cross-wound packages. In order to improve the efficiency of such a textile machine producing cross-wound packages, in particular to minimize significantly the tube delivery times arising in the event of yarn lot changes at a textile machine producing cross-wound packages, a drive is connected to the at least one tube conveyor belt, which drive enables reversible operation of the tube conveyor belt.
