Method of folding paper
A method for folding paper by means of a folding machine having a folding station, wherein a portion of a paper web (9) supplied to same is firstly folded in a first stack (10) containing continuous sheets and, after reaching a threshold value of the thus-created first stack (10), moved into a stacker (15) and thus remains in contact, via a folded stacking area (12) with a further portion of the paper web (9), wherein a section of the folded stacking area (12) serves as basis for a further subsequent stack of continuous sheets to be folded thereupon. Such method is intended to be developed such that only the smallest possible loops are required. To this end, before moving the first stack (10) into the stacker (15) the folded stacking area (12) is withdrawn out of the folding station from the first already folded stack (10), the folded stacking area (12) is fed back into the folding station while the first stack (10) is moved into the stacker (15), and then the already folded stacking area (12) fed back into the folding station serves as the basis for the subsequent stack to be folded, and the process of withdrawing the folded stacking area (12) after reaching a threshold value of the subsequent stack is repeated until the whole paper web (9) supplied has finished being folded.

Braking wrap dispenser
A film dispenser includes a holding member, the holding member including a first end and a second end joined to the first end. The holding member defines a longitudinal axis extending from the first end to the second end. The second end defines a brake portion, a connecting portion extending radially inward from the brake portion, and a slot defined in the brake portion. The slot includes a first portion extending in a circumferential direction across a width of the brake portion and second and third portions extending across a length of the brake portion. The slot further includes a fourth portion angled with respect to the second portion and a fifth portion angled with respect to the third portion, each of the fourth and fifth portions extending in a circumferential direction, the fourth and fifth portions of the slot intersecting the second and third portions, respectively.
Method for controlling a piecing process for piecing a yarn at a work station of a textile machine
With a method for controlling a piecing process for piecing up a yarn at a textile machine, in particular a spinning machine, by means of a piecing device, a multiple number of work steps as preparation for the actual piecing operation are carried out successively in a chronological sequence. In each case, a predetermined time period is allocated to the work steps. For at least one of the work steps, the predetermined time period can be varied, whereas the current time period of the work step is determined as a function of a yarn characteristic of the currently produced yarn and/or as a function of a utilization of the piecing device. A control unit is designed to operate the textile machine according to this method.
Braking wrap dispenser
A film dispenser apparatus for dispensing film from a film roll including a holding member. The holding member can define a longitudinal axis that extends from a first end to a second end. The holding can include a brake portion defined on the second end of the holding member, and a connecting portion extending radially inward from the brake portion. The second end of the holding member can define a slot including a first portion extending across the width of the brake portion and a second portion and a third portion extending across the length of the brake portion. The film dispenser can further include a rotating member defining an axis of rotation. The longitudinal axis of the holding member can be aligned with the axis of rotation of the rotating member.
Method for Extracting a Thread by Suction from a Coil and a Corresponding Device
The method in accordance with the invention serves the purpose of extracting a thread (1) by suction from a coil (3) and the re-attachment of a thread end (13) to a new thread (1), whereas the thread (1) is sucked in against its spooling direction through a suction nozzle (6) into an extraction system, a loop (14) is subsequently formed, the thread (1) is separated in the area of the loop (14), which discharges a thread end (13) in the extraction port and prepares the other thread end (13) coming out of the coil (3) for re-attachment, and is subsequently attached to a new thread (1). Upon being extracted by suction, the thread (1) is guided through an eyelet (11) located in the run of the thread of the extraction port (8), the eyelet (11) is, together with the thread (1), moved out of the run of the thread of the extraction port (8), such that the thread (1) forms a loop (14) between the coil (3), the eyelet (11) and the extraction port (8), along with a corresponding device.
Method for a Textile Machine and a Textile Machine
The method in accordance with the invention for a textile machine, in particular a spinning or a winding machine with multiple similar workstations (1), serves the purpose of delivering a thread (7) to a coil (12), laying the thread (7) on the coil (12), for winding the thread (7) on the coil (12) and for finding a thread end wound on the coil (12) by means of a suction nozzle (4), whereas the thread end is sucked in by means of an opening turned towards the coil circumference that serves as an extraction mouth (10) of the suction nozzle (4). The thread (7) runs through the suction nozzle (4) during the delivery to the coil (12), whereas it enters through an additional opening in the suction nozzle (4) serving as an inlet mouth (9) for the thread (7) and exits the suction nozzle (4) through another opening, in particular through the extraction mouth (10). A textile machine, in particular a spinning or a winding machine, features multiple similar workstations, in each case with a thread delivery device for delivering a thread (7) to a coil (12), a thread traversing device for laying the thread (7) on the coil (12), a winding device for winding the thread (7) on the coil (12) and a suction nozzle (4) for finding a thread end wound on the coil (12), whereas the suction nozzle (4) features an opening turned towards the coil circumference that serves as an extraction mouth (10) for sucking in the thread end. The suction nozzle (4) features an additional opening serving as an inlet mouth (9) for the thread (7), and the thread (7) runs through the suction nozzle (4) during the delivery to the coil (12), whereas it enters the suction nozzle (4) through the inlet mouth (9), and exits the suction nozzle (4) through another opening, in particular the extraction mouth (10).
