Brunnian link making device and kit
A Brunnian link is a link formed from a closed loop doubled over itself to capture another closed loop to form a chain. The example kit provides for the successful creation of unique wearable articles using Brunnian link assembly techniques and includes several pin bars that are supported in a desired special orientation by at least one base. The desired special orientation is dependent on the desired linked configuration of the completed article. The pins may be assembled in various combination and orientations to provide endless variation of completed link orientations.

METHOD FOR KNOTTING GLASS FIBER BUNDLES AND SPLICED GLASS FIBER BUNDLE
The present disclosure provides a method for knotting glass fibers and a spliced glass fiber bundle. The method for knotting glass fibers comprises the following steps of: equally dividing a glass fiber bundle A and a glass fiber bundle B that are to be connected by knotting into n strands, respectively, and marking the strands as A1-An and B1-Bn, respectively, wherein n is a natural number greater than or equal to 2; and, successively knotting and splicing the glass fiber strands A1-An and the glass fiber strands B1-Bn in one-to-one correspondence to form n spliced knots. The method for knotting glass fibers in the present disclosure is simple, easy to operate and applied to the knotting and splicing of various fiber bundles, and can effectively reduce the size of knots formed by knotting fiber bundles. Accordingly, the blockage, entanglement, stoppage and other phenomena during the production can be prevented, the smooth production is ensured, and it is advantageous for continuous production and quality of subsequent products.
SYSTEM, DEVICE AND METHOD TO FACILITATE TYING A KNOT
A system, device and method to facilitate tying a knot are provided. In the context of a device, the device includes a fixture defining an internal passage therethrough. The fixture defines a circumferential groove opening through an interior surface of the fixture and into the internal passage. The groove includes first and second groove portions that cross one another. Opposite ends of the groove are coincident and open through an exterior surface of the fixture. With relation to a system, the system includes a fixture and a lead member supply mechanism configured to alternately feed a lead member through the groove and to withdraw the lead member from the groove once the tie member is connected thereto.
Knot-tying head
A knot-tying head adapted to form a knot with a filament around a cylindrical part, and wherein the knot-tying head includes a first body and a second body, wherein both bodies are configured such that when they are attached they form a hollow space between one another for receiving the part; wherein the first body and the second body include at least one conduit forming a path substantially around the hollow space, and the conduit being adapted to receive the filament, and at least one groove communicating the conduit with the hollow space along all or part of its path, the width of the groove being less than the width of the conduit and greater than the width of the filament used to form the knot.
APPARATUS FOR KNOTTING DRAWSTRINGS OF MEDICAL DEVICES OR MEDICAL DEVICES CONTAINING DRUGS
The present invention provides an apparatus for making knots in a flexible element attached to a medical device and methods using said apparatus.
