A banknote collecting and recycling box includes a box body including a door body having a banknote inlet, a banknote conveying passage, a conveying mechanism and a banknote stacking plate. The conveying mechanism is close to the banknote inlet and includes a driving shaft roller, a steering shaft roller in interference fit with the driving shaft roller, an outlet driving shaft roller away from the banknote inlet and in interference fit with the steering shaft roller, and a flapping vaned wheel coaxially arranged with the outlet driving shaft roller. A sheet conveyance apparatus comprises a first sheet accommodation unit, a second sheet accommodation unit, a conveyance path and a controller. The first sheet accommodation unit and the second sheet accommodation unit are both provided with a movable guide plate which determines the size of an accommodated sheet. The conveyance path conveys a sheet between the first sheet accommodation unit and the second sheet accommodation unit. The controller carries out a control processing so as to change, in a case in which the accommodation size of the first sheet accommodation unit is changed, the accommodation size of the second sheet accommodation unit to be the same as that of the first sheet accommodation unit.

The present invention is directed to providing a bill-separating-and-stacking unit with a simplified power-transmission structure by integrating driving units of a push plate and a shutter into a single unit. The bill-separating-and-stacking unit includes a sheet roller configured hit bills entering a bill-stacking space with a sheet, which is rotated, and configured to guide the bills to be stacked, a push plate configured to perform reciprocation and support the bills which are stacked in the bill-stacking space, a shutter which is rotated in one direction to be located in a stacking position so that the sheet of the sheet roller is rotatable to an upper side of the bill-stacking space when the bills are stacked, and is rotated in a direction opposite the one direction to be located in a separating position so that the sheet is prevented from protruding to the upper side of the bill-stacking space when the bills are separated, and a push-plate-and-shutter driving unit having a single driving source so that the push plate and the shutter are worked in conjunction with each other.

A cover feeder for providing book covers to a production unit of a book completion line includes a first receiving device for book covers of the same format, which can be positioned individually, in an overlapping flow and/or in a stack thereon, and a second receiving device that is arranged upstream of the first receiving device for a stack of book covers having different formats. The cover feeder includes a control unit to which information can be transmitted relating to the format and sequence of book covers in the stack of book covers having different formats, and a laterally adjustable centering device connected to the control unit for a defined lateral displacement and/or aligning of respectively one book cover that is separated out from the second receiving device and is positioned on the first receiving device.
