COATING FILM TRANSFER TOOL
A coating film transfer tool may include a casing that houses a feeding reel around which a transferable tape is wound and a winding reel; and a transfer head having a main body portion arranged in a front side which is one side of a front-rear direction of the casing to extend in a left-right direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction in a front end portion and provided with a pressing edge portion adapted for transferring the coating film to a transfer target surface. The casing or a base member housed in the casing may have a protruding tip that extends to the transfer head side and is connected to the transfer head. The protruding tip may press a part of an area including a center of the left-right direction of the main body portion to the transfer target surface side in the event of a transfer.
SHEET STACKING APPARATUS, SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet stacking apparatus includes a tray capable of stacking plural sheets, and four wires with one end of each of them being connected to a corresponding one of portions at four corners of the tray. On the downstream side of the tray concerning a sheet feeding direction, the other end of each of two wires is connected via pulleys provided above the tray. A winding unit in the apparatus vertically moves the tray hung by the four wires by winding up or rolling down the two wires. On a side opposite to the side of the tray where the connecting portion to which one end of each of the two wires connected to the winding unit is connected, the other end of each of the remaining two wires are connected via pulleys provided above and below the tray, respectively.
Sheet feeding device and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeding device includes a side face of a device body and a bypass tray. The bypass tray is supported turnably around a fulcrum part in the side face between a close position along the side face and an open position held at a predetermined angle with the side face. The bypass tray includes a locked piece having a locked hole. The side face includes a locking hook engaging with the locked piece when the bypass tray is at the close position. The locking hook includes an elastically deformable arm part, an engaging protrusion part protruded inwardly from a distal end of the arm part in a width direction of a sheet to insert into the locked hole, and a regulating part coming into contact with an opening edge of the locked hole to regulate an insertion amount of the engaging protrusion part to the locked hole.
MEDIUM TRANSPORTING DEVICE, IMAGE READING APPARATUS, AND OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
A medium transporting device including: a main body; an opening/closing body; and a holding unit, in which the holding unit includes a rotation member that has a supporting portion which can be displaced between raised up and dropped down by rotation thereof and supports the opening/closing body and applies a force to the opening/closing body in an opening direction by the supporting portion engaging with the opening/closing body, and a pressing unit that presses the rotation member in the raised direction, and in which the holding unit further includes a configuration in which a force which is applied to the opening/closing body in the opening direction due to a pressing force to the rotation member generated by the pressing unit and a force that the opening/closing body tries to close are balanced with each other according to a predetermined rotation angle of the rotation member.
Assembly for Varying Pick Normal Force in an Automatic Document Feeder
An assembly for varying pick normal force in an imaging device includes a spring mounted above a pick mechanism having a pick arm mounted at a first end thereof on a shaft and a pick roller mounted at a second end of the pick arm. A rib projects from the first end of the pick arm towards the spring such that the spring is in contact with the rib to impart a rotational force to the pick arm. The rib on the pick arm changes an amount of deflection of the spring as the angular position of the pick arm changes such that an amount of the rotational force imparted by the spring to the pick arm changes thereby changing an amount of a normal force applied by the pick roller to a media stack.
Assembly for Restraining Media in an Automatic Document Feeder
An assembly for restraining media in an input tray includes a pick mechanism having a pick arm mounted at a first end thereof on a shaft. A media stop is positioned to be engageable by a leading edge of the media when the media is disposed in the input tray. The media stop is held by the pick arm in a media stop position for restraining the media in a media loading position when the pick arm is in a raised position and is released by the pick arm from being held in the media stop position when the pick arm is in a lowered position. A spring mounted above the pick mechanism imparts a downward force at the first end of the pick arm for holding the pick arm in the raised position in order to hold the media stop member in the media stop position.
MEDIUM TRANSPORT APPARATUS AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A moving-side roller reliably separates from a stationary-side roller so as to enable appropriate document transport. An image reading apparatus causes a roller support member supporting the moving-side roller to come into contact with the stationary-side roller. A contact state and a separation state can be switched. The image reading apparatus includes an external force providing portion to exert a third external force on the roller support member in a direction for restraining warping that is generated in the roller support member by a first external force that a cam exerts on the roller support member and by a second external force that an urging device exerts on the roller support member.
Paper feeding apparatus, image forming apparatus, image forming system
A paper feeding apparatus includes: a sheet loading unit for loading a bundle of sheets; a separation unit that separates a topmost sheet of the bundle of sheets loaded on the sheet loading unit, from the bundle of sheets; a conveyance unit that conveys the separated topmost sheet; an end fence that is movable in a sheet conveyance direction, abuts trailing ends in the sheet conveyance direction, and positions the bundle of sheets in the sheet conveyance direction; and a pressing unit that is provided in such a manner as to protrude from the end fence, and is able to press the trailing ends in the sheet conveyance direction of at least an upper part of the bundle of sheets, wherein the pressing unit has different pressing forces at an upper and a lower portion thereof, and has the lower pressing force stronger than the upper pressing force.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVED FIXATION OF FLATS SEQUENCING SYSTEM LINEAR ACTUATOR
