Interpreting media

A method for execution by a computing device includes obtaining a set of media element identigens for media elements of media to produce sets of media element identigens. The sets of media element identigens are possible interpretations of a media element. The method further includes generating a set of relationships between media elements. The relationships provide a list of one or more ways in which the media elements are related. The method further includes processing different permutations of the sets of media element identigens using the set of relationships to generate an entigen group. The entigen group represents a most likely interpretation of the media.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STRIPPING FLOWERS, BUDS, OR LEAVES FROM HERBS OR PLANTS

The invention provides a device and method for quickly, easily and accurately removing flowers or buds from a plant stem in a single step by using a device that is a cover or partial cover for a bucket or container that can be attached and removed from the bucket or container, and the device further providing one or more substantially rigid grooves or shaped edges and pressing an herb or stem of herbs or plants firmly into and against the one or more grooves or shaped edges utilizing a method according to the invention to permit stripping or removing the flower(s) or bud(s) that are attached to the plant or herb stem in a single step. In a preferred aspect, the invention provides such devices and methods that include a device having a plurality of grooves or shaped edges that can efficiently catch and strip buds or flowers from herbs or plants.

REMOVABLE MOTOR HOUSING FOR A PLANT MATERIAL TRIMMING DEVICE
20180306377 · 2018-10-25 · ·

A removable motor housing for a plant material trimming device. The removable housing may include a first motor housing connectable to the plant trimming device. The first motor housing may be slidably or pivotably connectable to the plant trimming device. The first motor housing may be operable to receive an output shaft from a first motor in the first housing. The output shaft may be operable to communicate with an input shaft of the plant trimming device. A biasing device may be connectable to the first motor housing and the plant trimming device for biasing the first motor housing into a first position. When the first motor housing is in the first position a substantially constant force is applied between the input shaft of the plant trimming device and the output shaft of the first motor.

HARVESTING TUMBLER

A harvesting tumbler apparatus includes first and second spaced apart grating segment retainers, and a tumbler grating including a plurality of resiliently tensionable grating segments connected to the first and second grating segment retainers. The resiliently tensionable grating segments extend from each of the first and second grating segment retainers in a spaced apart circular arrangement. The tumbler apparatus further includes a tension mechanism configured to apply a sufficient tension force to the resiliently tensionable grating segments to cause the grating to form a cylindrical shape. In illustrative embodiments, the resiliently tensionable grating segments may include flexible cord segments.

A Self-Guided Blossom Picking Device

Disclosed is a self-guided blossom picker that uses a vision system to identify and locate blossoms or inflorescence growing on a plant. The device is intended to be used on a farm and towed by a tractor, for example, or it can be self-propelled. As the device is moved over the blossom the image data captured by the vision system is sent to a machine vision module, which interprets the data and identifies a location of blossom. A controller uses the location data to command a picker to the proper location. A cutter on the picker is actuated to remove the blossom.

TRIMMER DEVICE FOR PROCESSING PLANT MATERIAL

Embodiments are disclosed of an apparatus with a first planar cutter including a center and a plurality of through-holes and a second planar cutter positioned on the first planar cutter and including a center and a plurality of through-holes. An axle passes through the center of the first planar cutter and is coupled to the center of the second planar cutter, so that rotation of the axle produces rotation of the second planar cutter relative to the first planar cutter. At least the surface of one of the first planar cutter and the second planar cutter is made of a friction-reducing material.

CANNABIS FARMING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Variable-scale, modular, easily manufacturable, energy efficient, reliable, and computer-operated farming superstructure systems (FSS) may be used to produce cannabis for human consumption with minimal water and environmental impact. A system for producing electricity, heat, and cannabis includes a power production system (PPS), a farming superstructure system (FSS), and a temperature control unit (TCU). Methods to method to separate volatiles from cannabis are described. Methods to asexually clone a plurality of cannabis plants are also provided.

The method further includes processing different permutations of the sets of media element identigens using the set of relationships to generate textual descriptions as a proxy for an entigen group. The entigen group represents a most likely interpretation of the media.

Device for thinning out a fruit tree

The device for removing flowers from a fruit tree by pulling off from their branch is formed by a rod, a gripping and a puller. The gripper can be a handle. The puller is mounted at the end of the handle for pulling off flowers. The puller can be formed of at least one roller provided with fibers in the form of bristles, each roller being mounted articulated, freely rotating at the end of the rod, so that the transverse displacement of the rod into contact with the branch induces a rotation of each roller.
