SHEET FEEDING CASSETTE
A sheet feeding cassette includes a feed tray and an extension tray that extends a length of the feed tray in a sheet feeding direction. The feed tray and the extension tray each include a lock operator for fixing and locking a position of the extension tray at each of a plurality of locations, and each of the lock operators includes a groove provided in the feed tray and a locking claw provided at the extension tray.
PRINTING CASSETTE AND PRINTER
A printing cassette includes: a case including a first case portion, a second case portion, and a third case portion; a first tape, at least a portion of which is accommodated in the third case portion; and a gear, a portion of which is accommodated in the second case portion and the other portion of which is located outside of the case, the gear being rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to a first direction. The first case portion has an outlet through which the first tape is discharged. The first case portion, the second case portion, and the third case portion are disposed in an order of the first case portion, the second case portion, and the third case portion in the first direction.
Paper sheet handling apparatus
A paper sheet handling apparatus includes an accumulation and storage unit that accumulates and stores paper sheets conveyed by the conveyance unit while aligning the paper sheets, the accumulation and storage unit having an accumulation unit that accumulates the paper sheets so that a first direction which is one of a vertical width direction and a horizontal width direction and a second direction which is the other of the vertical width direction and the horizontal width direction are oriented in predetermined directions, a first alignment unit that is movable between a first retracted position spaced apart from the paper sheets and a first alignment position in contact with one end edge of the paper sheets positioned in the first direction; and a second alignment unit that is movable between a second retracted position spaced apart from the paper sheets and a second alignment position in contact with other end edge of the paper sheets positioned in the first direction, with a control unit that causes the paper sheets to be aligned in the first direction by causing the first alignment unit and the second alignment unit to move from the first retracted position and the second retracted position to the first alignment position and the second alignment position and tap the paper sheets accumulated in the accumulation unit from both sides of the first direction.
Placement tray and recording device
A placement tray 50, which is displaceable to a closed state and an open state with respect to a device main body 34, has a placement surface 51 on which a medium is placed, edge guides 531, 532 that restrict side edges of the medium to be placed, and a link member 551 that supports the placement tray in the open state. The edge guide has a movable section 571 that pivotably switches between a non-use posture in which it reclines along the placement surface and a use posture in which it is upright against the placement surface, and an operation section 611 that is fixed in posture against the placement surface and is operated. At least a part of the operation section is provided at a position that overlaps the movable section and does not overlap the link member as viewed from the width direction that intersects the transport direction F of the medium.
Printing apparatus to prevent paper-jamming
A printing apparatus includes a discharge unit and a tray. The discharge unit discharges a recording medium printed by a print unit in a first direction. The tray includes a supporting surface that supports the recording medium discharged from the discharge unit, a protruding portion that forms part of the supporting surface and that protrudes in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a convex portion that is provided on the supporting surface and that protrudes upward from the supporting surface. The convex portion is formed on an inner side of the protruding portion in the second direction and overlaps the protruding portion in the first direction.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus has: a sheet feeding unit configured to transport, in a feed direction, a sheet arranged at a sheet feeding position; a sheet bundle loading unit configured to load a sheet bundle including multiple sheets fed by the sheet feeding unit; a lift mechanism configured to move the sheet bundle loading unit vertically so that the uppermost sheet loaded on the sheet bundle loading unit is arranged at the sheet feeding position; and a transfer mechanism configured to hold and transfer the externally supplied sheet bundle onto the sheet bundle loading unit. The transfer mechanism has a sheet bundle holding unit configured to hold the externally supplied sheet bundle and a transfer unit configured to transfer the sheet bundle from the sheet bundle holding unit onto the sheet bundle loading unit to establish a state where the sheet bundle is loaded on the sheet bundle loading unit.
Paper sheet storage container
A paper sheet storage container capable of accurately taking out paper sheets one-by-one. A paper sheet group is held by a paper sheet placing table and holding members, while the paper sheet placing table is being biased upward by an elastic member so that the position of an uppermost paper sheet of the paper sheet group placed on the paper sheet placing table is substantially the same position as the positions of holes through which air flows. In this state, in the paper sheet storage container, air is blown from a side to the uppermost paper sheet of the paper sheet group placed on the paper sheet placing table thereby allowing the uppermost paper sheet to be brought into a state in which the vicinity of the center thereof has been raised.
Sheet feeder capable of pulling out and feeding sheet from multi-purpose tray, and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeder includes: a multi-purpose tray; a guide roller provided at an end of the multi-purpose tray to come into contact a recording paper sheet protruding from the end of the multi-purpose tray; a spring member that supports the guide roller elastically and movably in upward and downward directions; and a pick-up roller that is disposed apart from the end of the multi-purpose tray movably in the upward and downward directions and, when moved downward, pulls out the recording paper sheet protruding across an upper side of a peripheral surface of the guide roller from the end of the multi-purpose tray while being pressed against a leading end portion of the recording paper sheet.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus, a sheet stacking portion, a sheet feeding unit, and a sheet supporting portion disposed upstream of the sheet stacking portion in a sheet feeding direction and configured to support the sheet. The sheet supporting portion includes a sheet supporting surface disposed adjacent to a sheet stacking surface on which the sheet is stacked in the sheet stacking portion, the sheet supporting surface being configured to support the sheet in conjunction with the sheet stacking surface, and a rotary member disposed such that part of the rotary member projects upward from the sheet supporting surface and comes into contact with a lower surface of the sheet, the rotary member being configured to rotate in accordance with feeding of the sheet.
