DICLOFENAC AND HYALURONIC ACID COMBINATION TREATMENT FOR ORAL LEUKPOPLAKIA
An oral gel composition suitable for the treatment of oral leukoplakia comprising a combination of diclofenac with hyaluronic acid and methods of administering the oral gel that may include a device that prolongs contact time of the oral gel with the areas of the mucosa that are affected by oral leukoplakia.
DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTION OF A LIQUID IN A USER'S MOUTH
A mouthpiece for distribution of a liquid in a user's mouth, the mouthpiece comprising an inlet for a tube and an internal channel with at least two outlets, wherein the mouthpiece is configured to be positioned within a superior vestibule of the user's mouth apical to a gingival margin, wherein a thickness of the mouthpiece is less than 1 mm.
Device and method for treating objects, in particular dental prosthetics and/or teeth
The invention relates to a device (1) for treating objects, in particular dental prosthetics and/or teeth, comprising a receiving volume (3) for receiving a cleaning fluid (5), a plasma source (7) configured to generate a non-thermal plasma (35), wherein the device (1) is configured for mixing a plasma product with the cleaning fluid (5), whereby an activated cleaning fluid can be generated, and wherein the device (1) is configured for using the activated cleaning fluid on an object, in particular on at least one dental prosthesis and/or at least one tooth.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR TREATING PERIIMPLANTITIS USING UVC
The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for treatment of periimplantitis using ultraviolet light. In some embodiments, the ultraviolet light is ultraviolet c light with a wavelength between 100 and 280 nanometers. In some embodiments, the ultraviolet c light makes the surface of the implant hydrophilic and more receptive to cell protein attachment. In some embodiments, an apparatus for treating periimplantitis using ultraviolet light includes a handpiece with a flexible neck and a rotatable tip at the end of the flexible neck. In some embodiments, the handpiece includes a contra angle dental handpiece or a straight dental handpiece which can couple to and direct ultraviolet light from either an end firing tip or a side firing tip. In some embodiments, the handpiece is sized to enable UVC light to be directed to an exposed area of an implant facing toward one or more posterior portions of the oral cavity.
Apparatus and method for treating cancer cells and bacteria in mammals including humans
Bacteria, cancer cells, fungus and other harmful cells located beneath the surface of a mammal body can be effectively destroyed by passing an electrical current through the area to be treated. Electrodes are positioned on either side of the area to be treated, for example, gums, fingers, arms, legs, feet and torso, and an electric current is caused to flow between the electrodes and through the area to be treated. The electric current will destroy the bacteria, cancer cells, fungus or other harmful cells.

Semisolid Oral Dispersions Comprising Active Agents
Semisolid oral dispersions for improving the health and/or appearance of the oral cavity. The semisolid oral dispersions include hydrophilic active agent particles in hydrophobic phase. The hydrophilic active agent particles can include bleaching agents, antimicrobial agents, anticalculus agents, and/or combinations thereof. The hydrophilic active agent particle can have a solubility in water of at least about 20 parts, by weight of the particles, in about 100 parts, by weight, of water. The hydrophobic phase can be semisolid petrolatum.
Intraoral Device
An intraoral device, comprising an antiviral and/or antibacterial and/or antifungal ion releasing agent material(s) which, when said device is exposed to the oral cavity and to any gases, liquids and solids passing through the oral cavity, and is capable of inactivating viruses and/or bacteria and/or fungi penetrating into the oral cavity.
MOUTHPIECE FOR WHITENING TEETH
The present invention relates to a mouthpiece for teeth whitening. Particularly, it relates to a mouthpiece for teeth whitening to alleviate dilution of a tooth whitening gel by saliva and to improve breathing of a user. The first aspect of the invention relates to a mouthpiece for teeth whitening comprises a body and a tongue rest, and the body further comprises an outer surface, an inner surface and an air vent penetrating the outer surface and the inner surface. The air vent has an inner side opening formed at a portion extending toward the user's oral cavity by a predetermined length from the inner surface, and an extended portion of the air vent toward the user's oral cavity is connected to the tongue rest.
ORAL TRAY AND METHOD
An oral tray for conditioning teeth within a mouth of a user includes a first tray layer and a second tray layer. The first tray layer is configured to engage teeth within the mouth of the user. The first tray layer can have a first Young's modulus of greater than 0.60 and less than 1.50. The first tray layer can have a first tray thickness of greater than 0.40 mm and less than 0.90 mm. The second tray layer is coupled to the first tray layer. The second tray layer has a plurality of tooth portions each including a recess. Each recess is configured to receive a tooth conditioner. The second tray layer can have a second Young's modulus of greater than 0.02 and less than 0.30. The second tray layer can have a second tray thickness of greater than 0.80 mm and less than 1.30 mm.
