Sheet conveying device having sheet supply tray, and image recording apparatus incorporating the sheet conveying device
A sheet conveying device includes: a tray; a roller; a roller arm; a lever; and a dust proof cover including: a first cover, a second cover, and a pressure piece. The roller arm is movable between an abutment position where the roller abuts on the tray and a separation position where the roller is away from the tray. The second cover is movable between a first position in proximity to the tray and a second position away from the tray. The pressure piece is away from the lever to permit the roller to be positioned in the abutment position when the second cover is in the first position, and presses the lever to move the roller to the separation position when the second cover is in the second position.
Paper feeding device and image forming apparatus with reduced power consumption
According to one embodiment, a paper feeding device includes a containing unit, a conveyance unit, a heater, a wiring, a thermostat, and a switch. The containing unit contains a sheet bundle. The conveyance unit conveys sheets from the sheet bundle contained in the containing unit one sheet by one. The heater heats the sheet bundle contained in the containing unit. The wiring supplies electric power to the heater. The thermostat controls a driving state of the heater. The switch is inserted in a middle of wiring and switches an ON state and an OFF state of the wiring in response to an input control signal.
WATER RESISTANT ROLL MATERIAL DISPENSER ASSEMBLY AND KIT
An assembly, kit, and method for water-proofing a rolled web material dispenser. The assembly includes a mounting plate that is constructed to engage a back surface of a housing of the web material dispenser and includes a gasket that is disposed between a front surface of the mounting plate and the back surface of the housing to form a watertight seal therebetween. A plurality of ribs extend in a rearward direction towards a mounting surface from a back surface of the mounting plate and define a plurality of channels that guide water sprayed above the dispenser away from a cavity enclosed by the housing. The assembly preferably includes a plug that is preferably tethered to the mounting plate and is constructed to cooperate with a keyhole of the dispenser housing and form a watertight seal therewith.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a storage portion to which a heating unit configured to heat the sheet stored in the storage portion is detachably attached, a conveyance unit, a detection unit configured to detect attachment of the heating unit to the storage portion, and a control unit configured to control the conveyance unit such that a standby time by which conveyance of the sheet fed from the storage portion is stopped is shorter when the detection unit detects the heating unit than when the detection unit does not detect the heating unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a housing, a sheet conveyor, a sheet stacker, and circuitry. The sheet conveyor is configured to convey a sheet on which liquid is applied. The sheet stacker is configured to stack the sheet conveyed by the sheet conveyor. The circuitry is configured to control conveyance of the sheet. The circuitry is configured to cause the sheet conveyor to expose the sheet on which the liquid is applied, to an outside of the housing, and convey the sheet to the sheet stacker.
Sheet processing apparatus
A sheet processing apparatus includes: an input section that receives a sheet; a dispensing section that dispenses the sheet; transporters that transport the sheet input through the input section, to the dispensing section; storages that store the sheet; and diverting sections that divert the sheet transported by the transporters, to the storages, wherein diversion points at which the sheet is diverted by the diverting sections are provided at positions higher than terminal ends of the transporters.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A heater of a sheet feeding device warms up a bundle of sheets set in a sheet cassette to dehumidify it. A first terminal makes contact with the topmost sheet. A second terminal makes contact with the bottommost sheet. When judging the necessity for dehumidification, a controller determines a judging resistance value based on the magnitude of a current passing through the bundle of sheets with a detection voltage applied to the first terminal. When the judging resistance value is equal to or lower than a threshold value, the controller operates the heater. When the determined judging resistance value is higher than a threshold value, the controller does not operate the heater.
Device and method for filling a transport container with notes of pecuniary value
A device (10) for filling a transport container (12) with notes of pecuniary value, has a displacement unit (700) that conveys the notes of pecuniary value into the transport container (12) through a movable frame (16). When the transport container (12) is closed, the displacement unit (700) is in a second operating state in which its cross sectional area is reduced so far that it passes through the partially closed frame (16).
SHEET STACKING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCLUDING SAME
A sheet stacking device includes a pair of first sheet stackers, a pair of sheet alignment members, a second sheet stacker, a sheet removal portion, and control circuitry. The first sheet stackers stack both end portions of a sheet in a direction orthogonal to a sheet ejecting direction. The sheet alignment members contact both ends of the sheet in the orthogonal direction to align the sheet on the first sheet stackers. The second sheet stacker is disposed lower than the first sheet stackers and stacks the sheet dropped from between the first sheet stackers. The sheet removal portion is disposed on one side in the orthogonal direction. The control circuitry causes one of the first sheet stackers and one of the sheet alignment members to move toward an opposite side of the sheet removal portion in the orthogonal direction after the sheet is dropped from between the first sheet stackers.
