Sheet separating device
A separation member separates a sheet, conveyed by a separation roller in a conveying direction, from remaining sheets supported by a support member. At least one of a first guide and a second guide is a movable guide which moves in a width direction orthogonal to the conveying direction to increase and decrease a distance therebetween. An urging member is retained, at one end thereof, by a base portion in an elastically deformed state and urges the separation member toward the separation roller. In response to the movable guide decreasing the distance between the first guide and the second guide, an engaging mechanism reduces elastic deformation of the urging member by moving the base portion in a first direction. In response to the movable guide increasing the distance, the engaging mechanism moves the base portion in a second direction opposite to the first direction.

The intermediate gear is rotatably supported by an intermediate support shaft, and the intermediate gear is provided with a stress relief means that relieves bending stress when the intermediate gear is attached to the intermediate support shaft.

The method includes: setting a slip coefficient, and performing iterative calculation forward from an iteration starting point according to an equation set of a winding angle and a center angle of rotation to obtain a winding angle at an iteration termination point; and if the winding angle at the iteration termination point is greater than a first preset angle, adjusting the slip coefficient corresponding to a cylinder body according to the first preset angle, extending a length of a helical winding transition section to a front equator, and starting the hoop winding at the front equator at the first preset angle to complete planning of the helical winding transition section.

A conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a first cursor, a second cursor, and a controller. The conveyance unit conveys a sheet in a first direction. The controller controls a speed at which the second cursor positioned away from the sheet moves toward the sheet.
