20190262104 · 2019-08-29 ·

An attachment member for mating with a dental implant includes a non-rotational structure and a body. The non-rotational structure is configured to mate with a corresponding non-rotational feature of the dental implant. The body extends from the non-rotational structure. The body has (i) an exterior side surface configured to at least partially engage gingival tissue adjacent to the dental implant, (ii) an exterior top surface that is exposed through the gingival tissue, (iii) a screw access bore for receiving a screw that attaches the attachment member to the dental implant in a removable fashion, and (iv) a set of radiopaque information markers that is located internal to the exterior side surface and the exterior top surface. The set of radiopaque information markers indicates information regarding the dental implant that is revealed in response to a scan from a computerized tomography (CT) scanner.

A dental device is described. The dental device includes a surgical template having one or more sites for drilling osteotomies in the maxillary or mandibular jaw and a false teeth set. The surgical template and false teeth set are configured to fit together to form a denture prosthesis that can be implanted in a patient. Also described are a method for creating a surgical dental template, a method for implanting a dental prosthesis, and a method for reducing jaw bone in a patient.

Method and system for tooth restoration

A method for denture restoration includes steps of generating sets of digital information of a mouth cavity of a person for providing firstly either an orientation appliance or a temporary restoration and subsequently a final restoration. The digital information is generated firstly from the mouth cavity alone and subsequently with the orientation appliance or the temporary restoration within the mouth cavity. The invention also relates to a system for performing this method, and to an orientation appliance and a prosthetic guide to be used in performing the method.

INTRARADICULAR ANCHOR PIN

The invention relates to an odontological biomaterial called ANCLA Post. The post is used as a reconstruction means in anterior and posterior teeth, the cylindrical, conical design of the extension and anchor-shaped design of the apical end allowing forces to be adequately distributed to prevent the fracturing of the tooth and to keep same repairable and usable for a long time. The post is characterized in that it is made of fiberglass, resin or polymer, and is white and radiopaque.

An apparatus, method and kit are provided for registering a human jaw with a CT image of the human jaw. The apparatus includes a moldable retainer and an arm having a moldable link portion and a rigid fixation portion. The link portion is attachable to the retainer and hardenable to maintain a fixed mapping between the fixation portion and the retainer. The fixation portion includes a CT marker connection region for detachably attaching a CT marker that includes a fiducial. The fixation portion also includes a tag connection region for detachably attaching a tag that is trackable by a pose measurement system. The pose of the tag connection region relative to a pose of the CT marker connection region is fixed prior to attaching either the tag or the CT marker, providing a known and fixed tag to fiducial coordinate mapping.

Embedded sensors and onboard or off-board processing in an aligner case can detect aligner material and/or quality. Material detection can be used for counterfeit detection, or to trigger material specific events. Quality detection can include detection of common aligner failures or defects. A case for a dental appliance may include a tray for supporting the dental appliance, a cover coupled to the tray, and at least one sensor to detect a deformation of the dental appliance. A case for a dental appliance may include a tray for housing the dental appliance, a cover coupled to the tray, and at least one sensor configured to detect a change in material of the dental appliance.

COPING SYSTEM WITH SNAP-IN RETENTION CAPABILITY

A coping for intraoral scanning or impression molding that includes a snap-in retention capability for engagement with a dental implant having a first engagement section. The second engagement section is configured for a snap-in or frictional fit with the first engagement section to releasably secure the coping to the implant.

SNAP-COUPLING TEMPORARY ABUTMENT MOUNT FOR DENTAL PROSTHESIS

A temporary cylinder for snap-in retention with an elongate dental implant includes an elongate body extending from a first end to a second end, the elongate body being generally cylindrical and having an upper portion and a lower engagement portion and the temporary cylinder's lower engagement portion includes a male irregular hexagonal plug, and wherein the dental implant includes a female regular hexagonal socket, and wherein the male irregular hexagonal plug and the female regular hexagonal socket are configured for inter-engagement with each other, and the fitment of the irregular hexagonal plug and regular hexagonal socket together with one another results in a frictional fit when inter-engaged.
