MOUTH-DETECTING TEETH-WHITENING DEVICE
Devices for whitening teeth that include at least one sensor that senses whether the device is in the mouth of the user, an electro-magnetic field (EMF) array, or an accelerometer. The sensor(s) or EMF array may enable operation of the device only when the device is in the mouth, turn on the device or a light when placed in the mouth, turn off the device when the device is removed from the mouth, or not allow the device to operate when the device is not in the mouth. A timer may turn off the device. The time may be adjustable, automatically adjusted (e.g., by the device), or adjusted based on color or shade of the teeth. Some embodiments have multiple sensors or EMF arrays or include a wakeup device or accelerometer. The accelerometer may wake up the device when the device is shaken.
CONNECTED TEETH-WHITENING DEVICE
Devices for whitening teeth of a user where the device outputs data, the device is controlled using hand gestures detected by at least one sensor, or the device includes wireless charging. At least one sensor may collect data for output. The device may whiten teeth by shining light on the teeth while at least part of the device is in the mouth of the user. The device may output data wirelessly, with Bluetooth, to a smart device, to the Internet, for computer analysis, for processing with machine learning, or for determination of a duration or intensity for whitening the teeth. The data may include shade or color of the teeth and may be compared to data from other users to automatically determine a teeth-whitening treatment procedure for the user. The device may notify the user of potential health risks associated with the teeth or gums of the user.
Electric toothbrush
An electric toothbrush including a handle, a head movable with respect to said handle, and a rotating working element having at least one brush located out of the geometric axis of said handle. The electric toothbrush further includes an electric motor for driving the working element in a rotary movement in a clockwise/counterclockwise direction, and a motor rotation direction switch coupled functionally with the head and the handle. The head and the handle are coupled with resilient technical means that enable, after exertion of the torque to the head, to rotate the head with respect to the handle into the left or right positions, where the motor rotation direction switch turns on the motor in the clockwise/counterclockwise rotation direction. After releasing said torque, the resilient technical means enable to maintain the head in a standby position relative to the handle, where the motor rotation direction switch turns off the motor.
TOOTHBRUSH WITH DISPOSABLE IRRIGATOR
An electric toothbrush is disclosed, having a handle including a drive motor and a head portion removably coupled to the handle. The head portion includes a brush, an exit port fed by an internal irrigation lumen, and a drive shaft operatively connecting the drive motor to the brush. A disposable irrigant reservoir is removably coupled directly to the head portion. The irrigant reservoir is in fluid communication with the internal irrigation lumen of the head portion. The head portion is configured to be replaceable with respect to the handle, and the irrigant reservoir is configured to be replaceable independent of the head portion. In some examples, the irrigant reservoir is a disposable bulb (e.g., a capsule), and is positioned such that the user can hold the handle while also squeezing the reservoir with the same hand. In some examples, the toothbrush head includes a suction mechanism.
Light irradiating toothbrush having multiple light sources arranged in alternation
Provided is a light irradiated toothbrush, in which light sources, irradiating light having mutually different wavelengths, are arranged in alternation at the bottom of waveguide bristles so that light of different wavelengths give rise to constructive interference which strengthens the intensity of the irradiated light, and the height of the light sources are varied on the basis of the wavelength of the light irradiated therefrom so as to effectively transmit light of short wavelengths to the waveguide bristles, and light having mutually different wavelengths are transmitted by means of the waveguide bristles, thereby effectively transmitting the light to the mouth of a user.
DEVICE FOR PRECISE INSERTION OF A DENTAL IMPLANT
The present invention relates to an implant-driver tool and method of using same for proper insertion of implants into a predrilled drillhole in a bone.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
Disclosed is an electric toothbrush including a head and a handle having a shape couplable to the head and configured to supply a driving voltage to the head according to a user's control. The head includes a toothbrush head in which bristles and first and second electrodes spaced apart from each other are disposed, a head body extending from the toothbrush head, first and second connection lines disposed in the head body and connected from the toothbrush head to the first and second electrodes respectively, a head cover configured to close an end of the head body, and first and second connection pins respectively connected to the first and second connection lines and having portions externally exposed through the head cover.
Digital dental tray for dental arch model generation
A system comprises a dental tray comprising an array of cameras, wherein each camera of the first array of cameras has a fixed position and orientation relative to one or more other camera of the array of cameras. The system further comprises a processing device to receive a plurality of images generated by the array of cameras, stitch the plurality of images together based on calibration data specifying predetermined image stitching parameters for combining the plurality of images, wherein the predetermined image stitching parameters are based on predetermined fixed relative positions and orientations of cameras from the array of cameras, and generate a three-dimensional model of a plurality of teeth based on the stitched plurality of images.
TOOTHBRUSH WITH TAPPING MOTION
The present disclosure is directed to a low-cost toothbrush with a simple-to-manufacture design that provides a tapping motion of the brush head. In an embodiment, a dental cleaning device includes an eccentric rotating mass motor and a drive shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. A spring element is mounted to the drive shaft in a configuration in which it acts in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the drive shaft. The spring element and drive shaft form an assembly having a resonant frequency. A power source supplies to the motor power sufficient to cause the motor to operate near the resonant frequency of the assembly.
ORAL IRRIGATION
Devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are generally directed to facilitating user control of high-pressure flow of liquid for oral irrigation carried out as part of personal dental care. Such control over high-pressure flow may reduce the likelihood of errant spray of liquid outside of the user's mouth (e.g., onto mirrors, countertop surfaces, or the user's clothes). Such improved control over errant spraying may reduce the potential for frustration and, thus, may promote maintaining oral irrigation as part of a personal dental care routine. Further, or instead, through facilitating user control of high-pressure flow of liquid, the devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure may improve the effectiveness and efficiency of self-administered oral irrigation in promoting a user's oral hygiene.
