BIOLOGICAL MONITORING DEVICE
A biological monitoring device includes a sensor included in a sensor device, performing a detection process of detecting a medical condition in a body of a patient, and performing a process of generating first detection data indicating a result of the detection process, a generation unit indicating contents related to the detection process, and performing a process of generating second detection data having a smaller data volume than the first detection data, on the basis of the first detection data, a communication unit realized by the sensor device, and performing a process of transmitting the second detection data to a terminal associated with the patient, and a control unit that is configured to cause the communication unit to perform the process of transmitting the second detection data to the terminal, when it is determined that the sensor device exists in the body of the patient.
Oral cavity treatment device and kit
An oral cavity treatment device including a power component and a tray component that are detachably coupled together. The power component may include a housing having a cavity and a power source located therein. The tray component may include a tooth receiving channel and may have a first electrode and a second electrode located on opposite sides of the tooth receiving channel. The tray component may be detachably coupled to the power component in: (1) a first configuration whereby the first electrode is operably coupled to a positive terminal of the power source and the second electrode is operably coupled to a negative terminal of the power source; and (2) a second configuration whereby the first electrode is operably coupled to the negative terminal of the power source and the second electrode is operably coupled to the positive terminal of the power source.
Three-way mechanical toothbrush
A three-way mechanical toothbrush includes an angular mechanical toothbrush having a plurality of switches and a charging port disposed on a first end and a toothbrush head disposed on a second end. The toothbrush head provides for three (3) discrete areas of brush bristles with each area capable of multiple directional brushing action.
LIGHT CURING IMPRESSION SYSTEM
A light curing dental system comprising a light emitting tray that precisely distributes an optimal amount of curing light energy to internal, external and extra oral portions of the dental arch to cure a dental material. The light curing dental system generally includes a light source, a light emitting dental tray, an activation module and a photocurable dental material.
CHARGING CONNECTOR FOR ORAL HEALTH DEVICES
In one embodiment, a charging connector for charging devices, such as oral health devices, is disclosed. The charging connector may include a cable configured to connect to a power source and a plug in electrical communication with the cable and configured to connect to a device. The plug includes a plug body, a first conductive contact in electrical communication with the cable, a second conductive contact in electrical communication with the cable, a first magnetic element aligned with the first conductive contact and having a first polarity, and a second magnetic element aligned with the second conductive contact and having a second polarity that is different from the first polarity.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
Disclosed is an electric toothbrush including a head and a handle having a shape couplable to the head and configured to supply a driving voltage to the head according to a user's control. The head includes a toothbrush head in which bristles and first and second electrodes spaced apart from each other are disposed, a head body extending from the toothbrush head, first and second connection lines disposed in the head body and connected from the toothbrush head to the first and second electrodes respectively, a head cover configured to close an end of the head body, and first and second connection pins respectively connected to the first and second connection lines and having portions externally exposed through the head cover.
A Dental Light Polymerization Device
A dental light polymerization device has an intra-oral tip portion and a handle portion. The dental light polymerization device has a polymerization light source and a light mixing element. The polymerization light source has a first LED exhibiting a first light emission peak wavelength and a second LED exhibiting a second light emission peak wavelength. The first and second LED each are configured for emitting visible light within a wavelength range of 380 nm to 495 nm. The first and second light emission peak wavelength differ from each other by at least 10 nm. The light mixing element is formed of a solid transparent body that has a rear portion and an adjacent front portion. The rear portion has the shape of a square-based truncated pyramid. Further, the front portion has a convex shape. The rear portion forms a rear end of the light mixing element and the front portion forms a front end of the light mixing element. The rear end forms a first diagonal dimension and the rear portion, adjacent the front portion, forms a greater second diagonal dimension. The light mixing element is arranged with the rear end facing the polymerization light source and with the front end facing away from the polymerization light source.
System and method of traceability of a dental prosthesis, and corresponding dental prosthesis
A system of tracing a dental prosthesis, the prosthesis including an electrical power source coupled with a radio-communications signals transmitter capable of assuming a weakly active state in which it periodically sends out signals at a first transmission frequency, and a highly active state in which it periodically sends out signals at a second, higher transmission frequency, and a presence sensor for sensing presence of the prosthesis in a mouth of a user, capable of delivering information on absence of the prosthesis in the mouth. The transmitter is configured to pass from the weakly active state to the highly active state when the sensor delivers information on absence of the prosthesis in the mouth. The system also includes a base forming a support of the dental prosthesis when not worn by a user, and the transmitter assumes the weakly active state on detecting the prosthesis in proximity to the base.
HAND-WOUND POWERED TOOTHBRUSH WITH REPLACEABLE BRUSH HEAD
A toothbrush includes a removable, replaceable brush head that includes a clip that also serves as a removal tool for a spent brush head. The toothbrush may be a manually-wound or charged, powered toothbrush that includes a winding mechanism, an energy storage element, and an output gear train to cause a rotating, oscillating or sweeping brush head to move, thus improving the efficacy of the user's oral-care regimen.
Automated Toothbrush Assembly
An automated toothbrush assembly for brushing teeth includes a handle that is gripped for brushing teeth. A rotation unit is movably positioned within the handle and the rotation unit includes a drive shaft that extends outwardly through the handle. The rotation unit alternately rotates the drive shaft in a first direction and a second direction when the rotation unit is turned on. A plurality of brushing heads is provided and a respective one of the brushing heads is removably attachable to the handle to place the respective brushing head in mechanical communication with the drive shaft of the rotation. Each of the brushing heads includes a brush that has a conical shape to penetrate spaces between teeth.
