The chain gripper opener is adjustable by at least one drive.
Layboy having at least one diverted belt section
A layboy includes an upper belt section with a plurality of transversely spaced upper belts that extend in a longitudinal direction such that bottom portions of the upper belts lie in a first plane that defines an upper boundary of a transport path through the layboy and a lower belt section having a plurality of transversely spaced lower belts that extend in the longitudinal direction such that top portions of the lower belts lie in a second plane that defines an upper boundary of the transport path. The bottom portion of one of the top belts and/or the top portion of one of the bottom belts extends away from the transport path to define a gap in the transport path at which scrap moving through the layboy can fall out of the transport path.
Agitator and sheet transport device including the agitator
An agitator for agitating sheets of material passing through a sheet transport device that has upper and lower guide sections defining a sheet transport path therebetween. The agitator includes first and second sets of rollers each having a roller axis of rotation and a width, and the rollers are mounted to at least one holder such that the axes of rotation of the rollers are radially spaced from a line and such that rotating the at least one holder around the line causes the rollers to orbit around the line. At least one support supports the holder for rotation around the line, and the set of first rollers is spaced from the set of second rollers in the direction of the line by a distance greater than the width of the rollers. Also a sheet transport device including the agitator.
LATERAL POSITIONING DEVICE FOR A SHEET ELEMENT
A lateral positioning device (100) for a sheet element (20, 20′) in a sheet element processing machine; a detector lever (130) articulated relative to a horizontal axis, which performs a descending movement from a high position to a low position; a first end (132) of the detector lever (130) contacts, in a low position of the lever, with an upper face of the sheet element. A second end (133) of the detector lever (130) is fitted with a target (135) that cooperates with a position detector (140) to generate a signal dependent on the thickness of the sheet element (20, 20′) and the number of sheet elements (20, 20′) present at the level of the first end (132) of the detector lever (130).
SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE PILE FORMATION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR FORMING PILES
In some examples, a sheet processing machine includes an at least one pile formation device. The at least one pile formation device is arranged so as to be displaceable at least in an inward-moving direction. The at least one pile formation device includes a plane. The at least one pile formation device is displaceable at least in a vertical direction relative to at least one lower multiple-up separating tool by means of a lifting device. In a temporary storage position, at least the plane is arranged in a vertical direction beneath a plane of the at least one lower multiple-up separating tool.
Method and apparatus for holding down a sheet on a feed table of a sheet-processing machine
A method and an apparatus for holding down a sheet on a feed table of a sheet-processing machine include a lowerable smoothing bar which can be driven according to a speed profile in time with the sheet-processing machine, which results in a targeted deflection of the smoothing bar. The deflection is preserved for the purpose of smoothing the sheet from the middle to the side.
Sheet processing machine with shaping device and upper suction transport means
A sheet processing machine has at least one shaping device and at least one sheet delivery unit, arranged downstream of the at least one shaping device along a transport path provided for a transport of sheets. The at least one shaping device has at least one shaping point which is formed by at least one forme cylinder, on one hand, and at least one impression cylinder, on the other hand. At least one separation device, for removing scrap pieces from sheets, is arranged downstream of the at least one shaping point along the transport path provided for the transport of sheets. The at least one separation device has at least one separation transport device. At least one transport device, configured as a selective transport device, is arranged following the at least one separation transport device along the transport path provided for the transport of sheets. The transport device is configured as at least one upper suction transport device for a hanging transport of sheets.
