A stake insertion and removal tool including a vertically extending pole portion having an upper end for grasping and a lower end comprising a fixed clamping surface, a clamping portion connected to the pole portion approximate the lower end by linkage, movable relative to the pole portion through the linkage, and having a step and a movable clamping surface. A downward force on the step forces the movable clamping portion toward the fixed clamping portion through the linkage, thereby forcing the movable clamping surface toward the fixed clamping surface, to grasp a stake placed therebetween as the downward force urges the stake into ground there-below.

ASYMMETRIC TEREBRATING DIGGING TOOL WITH LATERAL DISPLACEMENT SLIDE SURFACE AND PIVOTING LEG

A vine removal device may include a shaft connected to a hook with a pocket. An actuation mechanism, such as a line connected to a user's belt, can actuate a movable jaw having a jaw projection configured to at least partly fit within the pocket. The hook has blade that supports a vine slide surface that facilitates collection of vines in the pocket where they can be gripped by the projection of the movable jaw. The blade may employ a surface skimmer to limit how deep the blade can penetrate the soil.

The weeding tool is a hand tool. The weeding tool is configured for use in agriculture. The weeding tool is adapted for use in removing a weed from a maintained plot. The weed is further defined with a root. By maintained plot is meant a plot of land that is either cultivated or landscaped. The weeding tool comprises a blade and a handle. The handle attaches to the blade. The blade is the working end of the weeding tool. The blade: 1) wedges itself into the weed; and, 2) pulls the weed out of the maintained plot by the root. The handle is an extension structure that: 1) connects the blade to the control grip, 2) is used to manipulate the blade; and, 3) allows the weeding tool to be used by a standing person.
