Packaging material evaluation and apparatus therefor incorporating split take up drum and/or specific containment force measurement
A method, apparatus and program product may evaluate a packaging material to determine various metrics associated with the packaging material. A test apparatus may be used to evaluate packaging material using a take up drum capable of sensing containment force imparted upon the drum by packaging material applied thereto, and in some instances, simulated flaws may be formed in a web of packaging material to evaluate a packaging materials response to such flaws when under tension.
CARBOARD PACKER, AND A BLANK PICKER FOR A CARDBOARD PACKER
A cardboard packer is provided, comprising a blank magazine, a blank feeder, and a blank picker for transporting a single blank from the magazine to the feeder. The blank picker comprises an upper picking unit configured to attach to an upper portion of the blank, and a bottom picking unit configured to attach to a bottom portion of the blank.
PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING APPARATUS, METHOD OF DETERMINING REMAINING QUANTITY OF PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING PAPER AND PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING PAPER ROLL
Medicine packaging apparatuses and methods for accurately determining a remaining sheet amount of a medicine packaging sheet are described. The apparatus includes: a roll support section to which a core tube of a medicine packaging sheet roll is attached; a sensor disposed in the roll support section for outputting a count value according to a rotation amount; a wireless reader-writer unit for writing information to a core tube IC tag and reading said information; an information generation section for generating information to be written to the core tube IC tag; a remaining sheet amount estimation section for estimating a current amount of remaining sheet based on the information and dimensional information of the core tube; and a controller which selectively performs an operation if a reference time-point count value is not yet written to the core tube IC tag and another operation if the count value is already written thereto.
Improved Wipes Processing
An apparatus and method for forming a plurality of individually folded and rolled wipe products, which allows for multiple individually folded and rolled wipe products to be processed concurrently, and which maintains moisture in the wipe product during manufacturing.
Residual film winder for a packaging machine
The present disclosure relates to a residual film winder for a packaging machine, wherein the residual film winder comprises a reception mandrel, a reception sleeve, and at least one film spreader. The reception sleeve is configured to be arranged onto the reception mandrel. The film spreader has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end extends out of the reception sleeve, and the first end has an outer contour extending along its long axis. The outer contour of the film spreader has at least two sections, a first section and a second section, wherein the first and second sections are not parallel to each other.
DISPENSER OF STRETCH WRAP
The present invention provides a dispenser of stretch wrap, comprising a main body with a first end, a second end, a first connector portion proximate to the first end, a second connector portion proximate to the second end, a first braking mechanism at the first connector portion, a second braking mechanism at the second connector portion, a tension controller terminating an end of the second connector portion, the first connector portion and second connector portion are adapted to engage two ends of an elongated core with stretch wrap film, the tension controller comprising an adjustable portion that is rotatable and in mechanical communication with a movable part located intermediate the tension controller and the second connector portion and the adjustable portion is a rotatable knob, and the movable part is a clutching mechanism connected to a shaft; characterized in that the tension controller further comprises a tension limiting mechanism.
PACKAGING APPARATUS
Providing a packaging apparatus that can inhibit a reduction in printing quality with respect to a film. A packaging apparatus 1 includes: a film conveyance device 100 that conveys a film F; a moving mechanism that conveys a container C having an opening; a sealing device 40 that seals, with the film conveyed thereto by the film conveyance device, the opening of the container conveyed thereto by the moving mechanism; a printer 140 that is disposed upstream of the sealing device in a conveyance path of the film and prints information in a predetermined position on the film while being conveyed; and a controller that controls the operation of the film conveyance device. The film conveyance device has the accumulation mechanism 120. The accumulation mechanism is disposed between the printer and the sealing device in the conveyance path of the film and temporarily accumulates the film printed with the information. The controller controls the film conveyance device so that the accumulation mechanism accumulates at least the film that is utilized for one packaging operation in the sealing device.
FILM WRAPPING MACHINE FOR PRODUCT PACKING DEVICE USING STRETCH FILM
The present invention relates to a film wrapping machine for a product packing device using a stretch film, including a frame having vertical bars extending upward and spaced apart from each other, a film clamping unit including a pair of suction pads which are moved in a direction of being spaced apart from each other in a state of adsorbing the stretch film so that a front end portion of the stretch film supplied from a film supply device is opened, and a plurality of clamps configured to grip the front end portion of the stretch film opened by the suction pads, receive the stretch film whose upper end is cut and bonded by the film supply device in a wrinkled state, and process the stretch film to be covered on a product in a process of lowering the vertical bars, and a controller which controls operation of the film clamping unit and the film supply device.
Splicing Method and Unit for Splicing Two Packaging Films for a Horizontal Packaging Machine
Splicing method and unit for a packaging machine, whereby a first film is spliced to a second film which is a spare film. The splicing is performed by means of an adhesive element with two opposing adhesive surfaces, one for each film, and a longitudinal adhering element. First an adhesive surface is adhered to the adhering element and said adhering element moves so that the other adhesive surface comes into contact with the second film and adheres to it. Then the adhering element is separated from said second film, the adhesive element being adhered to said second film, and the first film is caused to come into contact with said adhesive element already adhered to the second film.
